I read how that person made master archietect. they grinded on private crafting stations at 900xp a pop. I am doing architect but I find it sickening when you get these huge groups (ala EQ and AC) that take control early on and then if you don't join you have to work tirelessly to get there. I would rather do it myself. but to have 100 people hand ing you supplies left and right is not playing it is exploiting to the point where those 100 people are helping to build a PA hall(commune) rather than play the game themselves. Besides is a PA hall like a house where only the "owner" can drop stuff no matter who has privliges. If so those 100 drones just got duped unless they are getting something out of it. Like grinding for some one to make master Tailor,Chef, Doctor,Waeponsmith,Armorsmith and Droid Engineer. Unfortunately for them the tracks that require fighting can only be done by them.

I have no problems with big (or whatever sized) PAs gathering resources for one guy. I mean that is realistic - a common goal that they are working toward. I actually think it is admirable.

But that said, I don't think the little guys should be punished by making the xp and resource requirements to skill up based on those rare cases. And I think crit failures are a great example of this. Crit failures don't affect those rare people who have a bunch of people helping them out - but they completely ruin a small solo architect or crafter. This is something I strongly feel needs to be removed - you shouldn't be able to crit fail on any structure, just components....

I am architect and working rather diligently on it. My wife is the only one helpin me out and I am doing just fine according to the average poster. I have no problems with the way architecture works and how many people are advancing so fast. Why? well those people have to get cooperation of lots of people to get anything accomplished which in long runs means they will have to keep more people happy and they will more likely have to sell for close to market average or a bit higher if they going to keep all those people happy. Yet I will be able to make a house sell it for 5k-10k and be completely happy cause That is money in my pocket and no one else's. I Will have no one to answer to and worry about no one else. Not to mention I can make one house a day if I run two missions to keep my miner running. So I will be amking 5k-10k a day which by the way none of the money I get from the house sold I will have to use on anything esle just bank it and save.

One last thing. Original poster it really isn't that big of a grind I mean if you make different things and play with experimenting you will be where you want to be before you know it.

Anyone who complains like this does not deserve architect.

These people are the types that do not want to work, they think everything should be fun and easy. I really seriously hope that the game can tell that types like these should never be jedi.
