You can absolutely use handmade structure mods for identical walls. My guild's MA made a deal with me. I crafted structure mods for him for a week and a half, using his resources and got MA myself. Now we are partners and both of us are sitting pretty. And I never had to shout "Selling Small X House for X crs."

Just to clarify as this is kind of a rampant myth, it makes no difference how the structure modules are made asWall Module schematics NEVER store serial numbers. Whether serial numbers are stored or not is dictated by the original schematic, not by the materials used.
