Thread: @system_msg:manf_error_7 -- new factory bug?
we are real close at tracking this.. hopefully the fix is easier to do ![]()
I have gotten to where i can easily replicate this bug on test..
I got this the other night making a 1000 unit run on Trim in my wearables factory.
I stoped Outputat 984 units so I could take something out of input hopper. There were enough resources left to make the last 16 units. Start the run again. Several munits later get the error message. No units were made, and resources for one Trim was consumed.
Output hopper had 66 items in it, Input hopper had 9, so we weren't at the 100 or 200 total limit.
Restarted the run again, and the last 15 units were made. Lost one unit.
I'm Bumping this back to the top as its the first time its happened to me, BUT everyone i know around me is getting this hugely as of late so its seemed to get worse.. now whats REALLY annoying me is the fact is see this has been going on for about 6 months and nothings been done.. now why im irked to all hell is this. I been getting this error but hadn't noticed im loosing the stuff from it. its actually making the item * the resources dissapear and the schematic looses a tick * but its not placing the item in the hopper. Ive lost 9 Heavie harvestors to this error as it will sometimes work and sometimes not so i just would keep hitting it over and over to make more. Would make 1-2 then error, then make 4-5 and error. Now that i know its eating my stuff i had to quit.. most of you know that loosing 9 heavie harvs is a pain in the rear.
Please get a fix for this error.. or at least make it not eat the resourses when a error does happen to the extent.. if output hopper is full place item in the input hopper and stop factory per say as a bandaid till you guys can hire someone to fix some code.
Isn't a great place where you can ride up to your factory because this error happens, you jump off your bike which disapears to a bug, you then run in your house and all your backpacks are empty.. all within 3 minutes.. lovely... just lovely.

Are they still working on this?
Did SOE ever say they were aware of it or working on it?

Not exactly. I was just taking the inference from Dvnce's response. If they are not working on it, I'd suggest we put in the request.
But from reading through the thread, thought that was done already.
