You would be best served posting this on your servers trade forum.

Ore is the most difficult resource to find in high concentrations.

Jedi will be rare and difficult - No
Increased Dev communication - No
CU will balance combat - No
Most of the bugs from launch fixed - No
saintchuck will continue to pay - No

- I supported the CURB, the Devs and the attempt to make SWG a better game and have realized it didn't work so I'm quitting in less than 2 days and won't be tricked into coming back again. Trick me once, shame on you...

Yes it is, especially good ore. I would suggest putting down at least 2 high ber harvestors on an ore spot and leave it there for a couple days. Only go back to the planet to check resource shifts.

I did this with some nice intrusive that I found, and now have 50k units. That was only 48% too. I've spent hours looking for good spots, with nothing to show for it.

Unless you find some primo stuff that you would have to move a harvestor on, I would suggest getting low-grade ore this way.

highest I've seen ore concentration so far is 63%. Yes, in general, they're harder to find than most resources. As for getting you coordinates, try your galaxy trade forum, and be prepared to pay for it.

I regularly go out surveying for people to find good veins for them. Ore is good when it is at 65%. I guess that is why it is called low-grade ore, is because it is never very high density. Sometimes you are better off putting a harvester on a 55% vein, if that vein is close by your house, than having to run 3000km one way to check a harvester on a 62% vein.

Don't let the negative AFKophobes get you down. Play the game however you want.

Is the beta testing almost over for this game?

There's nothing that's considered high-grade ore so anything called ore will work for you.
