Maybe the best thing to do is to finda mentor and make Generator Turbines and Wall Modules for them in exchange for the resources it takes to make them. Then, if you don't critically fail ever, you can get to Buildings IV and start selling large houses at cost! Then people will buy what you can make and you can start crying when you're 45% carbonate ore just shifted out and you can only find some 23% Extrusive will 117 UT...
Thats great advice to sell large houses at cost. NOT! Sorry, Ninja I totally disagree with that statement. Why would anyone sell at cost. LOL,,,,plus he is on the same server I am.....Also, he is only doing master arch because he got a holocron.
Just grind out the walls. You will need them anyways....If you need credits, there is a person who is buying walls just outside of Coronet for 9K each. He mailed me once for some but I dont have his name anymore. Try posting on the Wanderhome forum. Maybe he will see it.
I was joking bitterly when I said that. What do you mean why would anyone sell at cost??? Have you ever sold a structure in person? People are always asking for structures from 2-4cpu,so some architects must be doingit. That's at cost when you factor in ticket fares, shop upkeep, factory upkeep, crappy ore concentrations, etc.
I guess it's better than when I started... I had to pay for most of my training, BER was only 4 at best (and I usedPersonals for most of my career since I rarely had enough cash to make something for myself). Also, there weren't many Masters to make walls for (I got to do that for Construction II and most of III).
If you want to make money as an Arch in training, make furniture and sell it at 10cr/unit. That's how I paid for harvester upkeep.
You gotta get Master bud. I started out with a partner, split factory sales
FIND A MASTER !
like everyone said hehe, i have gone through probly 3 apprentices now, one has his own sucssesfull business on another planet, one quit architect and the other is still a part time apprentice and gets all the referrals i dont want plus his little business is growing too.
with preorders for city's comin in i should probly take on another hrm.

After two weeks of playing this new character, I've gotten naster artisan, novice aarchitect and closing in on first Arch skill.
Making harvesters, at least on Tempest, seems to be a losing proposition, small ones at least. I have been buying mine for 100-300 creds each; no way I can compoete with that price. Nice thing is when I need to move a harvesters, I just destroy it and spend another 100-300 instead of 3k to redeed.
I just made my first small house last night. It's selling for 10k. If someone doesn't want to pay that amount, it will sit on my vendor forever...or until I have tons of cash and don't care anymore.
For me, the best money makes so far are...imagine this....furniture!! And Novice furniture at that!! Torches sell incredibly well and I can't keep them stocked. Various plants sell well too. Even the orange furniture furniture sells out every day. I do try to add color and some unique names to everything, so maybe that is helping things sell well... That or just a lack of Architects on Tempest...
Sorry Ninja, I thought u were serious...LOL.......whew. With all these combat type people chasing holocrons and just mastering crafting professions for them,Ive seen completely insane prices at 1 and 2cpu for Arch items...... When asked why are they selling them for that amount, I usually get the response something to the fact that they have sooooooooo many credits they can careless.
Im an Imperial Commando on Wanderhome (2/4/4/0) and I'm reading all these threads on how you guys are soloing Tusken Captains and such. I havent played my Commando for a while, (I've been playing a Master Swordsman, which is great fun, but I'm going for rifleman with him now) anyway, I havent touched my Commando for a while, and wanted to know if the 2.5x melee modifier is still present?. I figured I could find this out from our Correspondant, but it seems like he is the only one who failed to post anything about our progress from the Devs.
And lastly, can you guys give me some tips for soloing such hard mobs? I currently have a full set of 40-60% Composite armor, and a 998 Damage 4.2 Delay Flame thrower.

Find a master armorsmith that can make you advanced Ubese or Composite armor and try and get an 80% kinetic layer on the armor. This is what I have on my helmet, chestplate, leggings. If you can only afford one thing, get the helmet. Do not stat migrate to try and fit it all on. Just buff yourself and give yourself muon gold and leave your armor on, it'll stay on even when your buffs go away. Because of this, you don't need a bunch of stats in your secondary stats, just take everything out of your secondary stats and put them in your primary stats. They'll be at 1 no matter what, even if there is a bunch in them. This means slow healing, but it's the only way to survive big things. Also, you'll want to have atleast 1000 in mind, most people neglect their mind but it is dangerous to have it small. With your full suit of armor on you can take things like pikets and voritors on dantooine, but only a few at a time because their hits will add up.
If you don't want to have a full suit of armor on (I prefer this method because I only fight creatures that deal kinetic damage), just give yourself enough room in your secondary stats to put just your helmet on. Then (this is key step, don't miss it) get buffed in all 6 health and action stats. When you have buffs, if your health and action pools are above their normal level, they will heal at full speed, even if you have full armor on and 500 battle fatigue. Don't ask me why. This way, you won't have to have armor on except for your helmet, because you get hit for 100 damage, 40 or 50 of it is made back up before they hit you again. Don't be suspicious of this technique, it works for me all the time. I've never been below my buffs.
Also, if you have enough money, just take a bunch out of your primary health and action pools and put them all in your mind. Doing this makes it so you have a much lower chance of being incapped through your mind pool. You can get mind buffs from dancer, but it takes like 10 minutes (wasted time to me) and they don't last that long. You can also chug muon gold. But do whatever works for you.
Composite? heh..wuzzies!
Stormie armor!
Decayed so the chest is down to 20% resist now...and Tusken captains still burn nicely.
Even Krayts have hit me and I have walked away.
It's not about hiding up behind armor, but look cool while you light your smokes with a flamethrower.
