Ok, I have a some problems with the game, probably some that hasn't been talked about before.
One, why do I STOP dead in space when I enter the last 5 seconds of hyperspace countdown???? Come on, they never STOPPED dead in space in the movies. They continued moving in the direction they were originally moving and at the same speed they were moving. When you are trying to flee from being destroyed, making you stop at the end of the jump cycle can get you killed. I mean, Had did it in the first movie, and tried to do it in the second one in the beginning, and, only at the end did he do it.
Second, these new space missions are really bad. I mean, come on, I did one last night and it felt like I was back in the running for my Tier levels. Make these more interesting. If I'm going to go and attack freighters and get the cargo, I shouldn't have to escort the freighter to a hyperspace lane. Hell, I could jump from that exact location that it was disabled in, why shouldn't it be able to? Also, I should get missions rated for my level, not a set level. I should be able to get missions just like from a ground Mission Terminal, that it looks at my level of combat and gives me missions associated to my level. Hell, I'm a Master Pilot, why should I be doing Tier 3 missions from Dantooine? I can go onto the ground at Dantooine and get much harder missions for my character than what the space station can give me, and it pays out a lot more money. I want exciting space missions, not boring ones that I can finish in like 2 minutes.

i accidentaly hit enter after i typed the title so now i'm doing the actual thing....
okay the old man visited me and then i was with a group when the sith attacked...someone accidentally looted one of the bodies so i waited for them again...this time i got off a shuttle and they incaped me...so then i had no crystal from the old man...the sith were still there so i killed then and got the data pad from them...but i still don't have the crystal from the old man...when i tried to use the datapad it said i couldn't understand it or something so i take it that i have to wait again for the old man and then the sith...i just want to make sure this is right

I have a similar problem, but I LOOTED the datapad but it still says I cant read it because a messages come up saying "you must first loot this object to extract any information from it" So any help to both of our problems would be greatly appreciated!!!

Same problem here...got the crystal then incaped by the sith....killed them and looted datapad but can't read it and the white crytal is gone
Did the old man come back in the end to give you another?
Anyone?

well...the old man came back ten minutes after i posted this up so about 15 minutes after i the first crystal was taken from me...i guess now all i do is wait for the sith to attack again and see if the datapad works...any help killing the sith would be greatly appreciated...if you are willing to help me send me a tell...name is eldanna and i'm kauri
