Just a thought...... The small table idea I can expand on... Get a decorative shisha (NPC mission from cantina near Jabba's palace I think anyway). You could raise it slightly and place one of the red thick candles underneath to make it look a bit like a tea warmer thing. Also you may want to check out what cups etc may be available.... Chef will be able to help you with this.

If your going to go with the PA hall idea then you can set it up on one of the raised areas and use normal couches placed on the lower level and moved to the table location to give it a small pillow type effect around the low table.

Also note that fountains can be placed inside and 'half hidden' in the walls, combined with candles and a few crystals you could create a floating lantern type water feature.

You may want to also consider banners, I'm not sure but I think you have the choice of rebel or imperial but you would have to ask someone else where to get them.

A decorator friend of mine did this for her PA hall actually and it turned out amazingly. Doesn't have pics of it though and she's redecorating it so you can't really see it. Few things I remember that amazed me though,

Mabari armorweave pants, the reinforced pullover vest (one with a bunch of different coloring areas etc.) and a tantel helmet with a gemstone necklace sticking out the top made a very realistic piece of shogun armor.

Sink potted trees into the floor or hide them with ottomans as bonsai plants, and use very short sparse decor.
