My heavy harvesters use maintenance as indicated by the rate, 3x that of a personal. I have not seen any anomalies when paying them up.

I AM talking about heavy harvesters. Been running one for over a week now.

I pay all my harvesters 2 days at a time because thats approximately the amount it takes to redeed them if the resource poofs immediately after paying. So every other day I pay maintenance. My heavy harvester acts no differently than my mediums. I put in 4500c one day, the next day I have a days maintenance left, pay 4500c the 3rd day, etc.

Deoka,

Are you talking about a heavy harvester? Or a mineral mining installation (medium harvester)?

If it is a medium, then 3xrate of a personal means those are costing too much also. Please check again and be sure.

I checked my HEAVY HARVESTERS more than once and every time they used 180 credits per hour. They read out as using 45 which some interpret to mean 90 per hour, but they do in fact use 180/hour calculated by checking maintenance, waiting an hour, and checking again.

Or try this experiment, put in 1 days maintenance, come back in 1 day, and you will find you owe a bunch of money in repairs.

Just check, don't argue, actually check! I have.

Oops Deoka, you already answered the question I posed.

You trusted the readout, but it is not correct, as you will see if you do the experiment, or wait an hour to check usage.

The readouts for the Solar harvesters do the same thing, They will tell you that you have a day's maintenance when in fact you only have 12 hours worth, and they also charge you double maintenance.

Update:

The heavy harvester and the solar array are now collecting the correct amounts for maintenance.

(I did have on little blip where one heavy harvester actually GAINED a few credits overnight to my surprise, but as I kept logging it's stored maintenance it was doing fine. Pegged right on 90/hour for maintenance, and 75 per hour for power usage. The gain of credits overnight is probably a bug only distantly related to harvesters, so things look pretty good right now.)

Thanks Devs for fixing this.

Much appreciated, as now I am paying a lot less.

By the way the Solar Array for those that dont know costs 60/hour to maintain, and collects up to 8power per minute.

Okay I have to go back to my previous criticism that harvesters are not working.

It seems they work right for a while, then they go completely haywire at times.

I have been religiously loggin all my maintenance and power usage.

So far I have seen:

1) Power working fine.

2) Maintenace works right at times, other times it is consumed at 2 times the rate it ought to be consumed.

3) Sometimes maintenance seems to be randomly going up and down. Last night one of my harvesters actually gained a small amount of maintenance. Today after I said all was okay with harvesters, I found thatmy solar harvesters had used up 960 maintenance in a period of 8 hours, 52 minutes, on Corellia, Flurry server. This exact same amount was spent from 2 different solar harvesters over the almost 9 hours. This maintenance rate works out to about 110/hour, almost double the correct rate!

Is it possible that sometimes we are getting the correct rate, and then something happens and the rate doubles?

If some other people could religiously log their rates for a few days, perhaps we can see how often this is happening. Please post all rates you log (either correct or incorrect). Please do not bother with anecdotal evidence such as "I haven't noticed anything" as this kind of evidence is next to worthless.

We need data, hard data only. Please join in and help.

-Also of note today, while my solar harvesters were chewing through maintenance, my mineral harvester rates (ones that I checked) are still correct so far today.

Wow Mitsudo! Really well written, well thought out post! You are right on with those bugs - I hope the Devs get to fixing some of them soon. Looking forward to reading Part 2 and I see you've got a Part 3 also. Keep it up - you should try for that Architect Corresponded thingy-ma-jig.

wow... great list, real thorough, and I've experienced most of these problems too

One thing I wanna point out is that the furniture III couch problems has nothing to do with placement. I set mine on an empty space in my basement, no collision with walls or other objects. Myself and two customers of mine were unable to target it at all (as if it wasn't even there). A third customer could target it, sit on it, etc. I had to make the guy an admin so he could rotate it and move it aside. The thing is bugged

I will begin to record my readings and payments (including power) every day as I check my harvestors. I am only using personal harvestors at the moment, but should get installations 2 in 2 or 3 days, and I'll begin switching over. continueing to record all data and times. I should have a pretty thorough record in a week or 2.

OKay I logged on today and found that my two solar harvesters had used up their maintenance at twice the supposed rate again.

Thanks Devs for screwing me and everyone else with maintenance and repairs again.

How about making harvesters invulnerable (no degradation and they keep running) until Devs fix this.

I feel like I'm still in beta.

Also there is another thread in the architect forum today with lots of other people experiencing similar problems.

I have had some harvesters burn through the maint credits at a higher rate. Not sure how much higher, though double sounds about right, thoughfor me it was withpersonal harvesters. This bughit2 out of 6 runningpersonal harvesters the first time, and4 out of8 the second.

I've had the maintenance bug as well, seems rather random.

Are there any Devs out there monitoring these forums?

Can we get some customer service here?

This is lousy, not any kind of acknowledgement at all.

Please someone report me for flaming the Devs.

They certainly aren't doing their jobs.

PLayer-harming Bugs should take priority over nerfs, no doubt about that.
