I just remembered. I need to get that cd notarized or something. Hmmmmm.

I'd burn two copies of the files. One on a disk with a notary public to verify/sign off on and at least two independent witnesses to sign off (make sure all of them see the actual in-game screen with the info and not just a screen shot, otherwise the old "it was photoshopped" arguement will be played). The second disk I would also have notarized but seal it into a cd mailer and mail it to yourself - you can't fake a postal address mark with date stamp without risking federal prosecution so the disk would be guaranteed valid. Hell, you could take SOE to small claims court based on the evidence if need be :-p

Really heartbreaking to read your post Fivo.

I recently lost two factories, I can't say for sure that the factories were fully paid for but since I paid for all of them at the same time, it's awfully strange that only a couple vanished. Of course it's not the factories but the crates and crates of valuable items inside that matter. I have had zero success in trying to talk to SOE/CSRs about problems with items destroyed, etc.

What's truly painful to read is when people who really strive to create something above and beyond what the game designers envisioned are the ones that are penalized the most. If the game designers had any sense they would reward loyalty and effort with good customer support. Instead it feels like loyal players are taken for granted.

I hope that the CSRs will see fit to take the extra few minutes to get to the bottom of the database problem (which appears to be ongoing) and fix it. It would be far more honorable to confess that the problem exists, and say that progress is being made toward fixing it, rather than say nothing.

And at the very least, BUMP!
