I read someplace...can't remember where (think it was on the BE or Doc forum), the Dev's posted something about the tools/crafting stations. Basically, the tool/station has no effect on experimentation. The tool/station number has something to do with the chance of crit fails...the better the number, the less chance of a crit failure.

I saw my sales go up with being a +12 - - - I started adding the hopper size to my harvester name and sales went up drastically. People want bigger hoppers and are willing to pay a little more.
On Intrepid BER13's sell around 100k. I sell mine for 120k and they fly off my vendors - all that started after I put hopper size in the item name.

People pooh pooh hopper sizes but in game play the ability to drop a BER 13 and know that you can come back in a week to 130k to 140k on each harvestor is a sound investment when you have limited playing ability. Most people do not want to check harvestors every three days.
