"The better judgement of the crafters" has absolutely nothing to do with the better judgement of the developers, and that's how it should be. The developers have more information such as usage statistics, leveling speed, and average income that the average user of the game does not have acccess to. Players give one set of inputs - "feel" of the game, "feel" for leveling speed, etc. However, that's only one (minor) input to the developers and designers' decision making. Your simple opinions do not and should not carry any more weight than that.

Yes, there are bugs and incomplete functionality. In any software product of this size, developed in a marketable timeframe, you will have these problems. Our job is to report them and provide as much information so that these can be found and fixed. The developers are not sitting on their thumbs - they are busy debugging an incredibly complex environment, while still allowing us to play. They have to bend over backwards to make sure anything they do "fix" doesn't negatively affect anybody in the game.

I don't know why you insist that they lied. They made a few promises and perhaps they haven't been able to keep them. However, they have a lot of things to prioritize, and I'm sure "premium auctions" don't exactly rate high on that list. I hope not, anyway. I'd rather have them fix the inventory bugs.

The support on this game is excellent. They have a good presence on the boards and regularly comment on suggestions and complaints. They can't answer everyone's posts - especially not people who won't give them a chance.

You have a right to be upset, but you don't have a right to dis hardworking people who have a lot of things on their plate. Make it constructive - they'll appreciate that.

It is still a bug that people with admin priviledges cannot drop or pick up items in a home.

This was bugged many times in beta - and needs to be bugged every time a player gets a home and cannot access this priviledge.

Do what we do for some folks. I place a house wher eit will fit well, align the door properly. Set up the name and run around dropping decorations. When I'm done I /transferstructure to the buyer. If you have a partner you can pass the ownership bank and forth every 5 minutes if you want.

To fix the extra vendor stuck in the inventory have your friend offer it to the working vendor for one credit. You then buy the broke vendor, when you retrieve it you can destroy it. Having admin on someone else's house also lets you pay maintenance.

What is amazing to me is that I have yet to see any developer response to these issues.

If it is behaving as intended, tell us! If it is a bug, then give us status reports.

Question: Am I correct in assuming that the /transferowner command gives you your lots
back? [It would be silly if it didn't [grin]]

Just built my first house with my business partner. He couldn't pick-up the items I dropped, so I found this thread....

This could definitely use some more attention from the developers. We'd like to haveone warehouse, not two. Just my 2 cents...

I just bought a Large Generic House so my four friends and I would have enough room to store our stuff as we are all over 100% in our inventories (by using satchels in the backpacks) and saftey deposit in the bank. I suppose I am a fool for not researching this before I bought the house.

Can a dev please let us know if this is a bug or intended?

I thinnk they fixed it so that the only person who can drop a vendor in a house is the house owner. i had not merchant skills whatsoever (even artisan skill) and as an architect I built a house for our PA crafters to share resources.

Our merchant built the vendor and gave it to me to place, I dropped it and it worked fine (the merchant had to operate it though)

The thing is now you have to be the house owner to drop the vendors. It is the only way of sharing resources/items with friends since the houses are bugged.

Shaddam: I believe your information is outdated. While fixing some unknown exploit they made it so that vendor deed is not tradeable anymore. So now we cant use that workaround and they know about it too. Its getting a bit ridiculous.
