Yeah but is there any way to have someone else drop items.... Im trying to have friends drop resources into the stockhouse
only things admins can do is move and rotate
probably a bug
Just a confirmation here. Our Architecte built up a nice little house for us and started dropping deeds to let us help in the harvesting, but we couldn't pick them up. We also couldn't drop off resources like we planned. Everyone has Administration rights. Please get this thing working. We could only rotate and move items.
Another nice idea would be to lock off inside rooms. Only let certain people into certain rooms, so I could have a public living room, but not have a public bedroom.
My partner is a merchant and can make vendors. I dropped a house for us to use as a market place.
He created a "standard vendor", but could not drop it. He gave it to me and I could drop it and he could administer it. Excellent! We now had a working store.
He is now a novice merchant, so he created a "random NPC vendor", gave it to me and I could NOT drop it.
I got the "You do not have access to this container" error. So, we now have a NPC merchant that neither of us can drop in the house.

Another twist to this one:

Exact same thing happened to me.
The house owner was successfully able to drop my first vendor.
When I got my second vendor he was unable to drop it.
Think we're going to destroy the house and rebuild it with it in my name. I guess you have to be the building owner to drop the second merchant, because my neighbor has two in his.
Lemme add one more thing to the list here:
If you own a house, drop a vendor in, all administrators or even people on the vendor list cannot actually use the vendor.. except for to buy something..
On top of this, if I put something in the vendor and then go to remove it, it is gone.. i see it at the bazaar, but cant retrieve it.. I am worried now because I have houses in there that I may need to adjust the price on as the market gets worse, and if I do the house will be stuck in never never land with the couch that I threw in to test the vendor..
Add to this that other admins cant drop or pick up stuff, and houses are all but worthless..
One more gripe before I get off my box.. in beta when they decided against the better judgement of about 95% of the crafters that they would put a 3k limit on the bazaar, they said that architects and other crafters would be able to link their vendors to the bazaar so they can sell stuff above 3k.. That calmed down a lot of people, but it seems they lied about that too, because I cant do it..
Also, the premium auction is a ripoff too.. costs more, cant go above 3k still, and doesnt look like anything else.. If I am gonna pay 5 times more to have the item listed, I want fireworks to go off and a big ass hand to point at the listing saying "BUY THIS ONE". ok.. maybe not that, but at least make it highlight for cryin out loud..
These are all bugs that should have been addressed in Beta, but the Devs ignored all the complaints and warnings, and now we are paying hard earned money to NOT have these very important features working.. I wish I knew how sony got away with marketing something that doesnt actually do what it is supposed to do.. I thought only Ronco and Ron Popeil (and that guy selling Oxy Clean) were the ones allowed to do that and get away with it..
