I did all my general craft xp making the survey tools since you can grind them real fast and only need 1 resource type. While the xp isn't in the hundreds, it only took me 2 days worth of grinding to make the needed xp. It is slower making the bone armor imho then doing what I did. Was doing a few thousand xp per hour this way.

do powerups no longer give you 40 exp? I could crank out 1000 exp every ten minutes (average) so i got from eng III to novice arch in a day of just solid creating and destroying of powerups. Now im almost a master architect wishing i was a weaponsmith or someone that doesnt lose 30k resources from a critical failures.

Just remember to be greedy and overpriced once you become an architect. I sure as heck am. At least 2 people a day tell me so.

That's funny Jarex

For some reason I too was greedy and overpriced for the first few weeks. But now that the horde of architects on my server have hit master and either raised their rates since they don't need xp now or thrown in the towel, I am suddenly one of the lowest priced architects on the server for most items. What's strange is that my prices have not changed at all.

I probably should become greedy and overpriced again.

In my opinion, business 3 is worth getting just because at novice you will be able to make yourself a house to use as a shop and put your vendor machine in to sell your wares when you aren't online. (I went into the merchant profession myself and have multiple NPC vendors, but the machine is fine.)

For those saying to you that you can't make anything as a novice architect, don't listen. From the time I made novice to the time I made master, I have never ONCE crafted a single item that I didn't use myself, make for a friend to use, or (90% of all items) sold for a fair profit. That's from small houses and personal harvesters right up to master level furniture. The market is out there if you are willing to do the legwork and aren't totally daft.

As to your prices, don't listen to any of us on that either. You can't win. If you charge more than 5 cr/unit of resource, you'll be called a greedy overpriced bastage by the customers and by lower priced architects. If you harvest your own resources and sell in the 2.5 to 5 credit range, the other architects will tell you that you are "runing the market" and "selling at a loss" even if you're making money hand over fist. Sell where you find it works and don't listen to the masses.

Okay I got another question, should I learn the Business III sine I already have the points to do so (and that way I can get a vendor in my house) or should I keep on saving till I conquer Eng. IV
