I am trying to become a architect, but of course its gonna take DAYS and DAYS of grinding for XP. Right now I have engin. III and trying to get past IV. All I can make is personel mineral extractors, wind generators, and micro flora farms... Its so hard! I only get like 100xp for 1 of these... I even try just practicing, and dont get that much.... How can I get xp faster? Its so hard... Basically the only thing that I am mastering is the Rifle skill, but I still got alot till I get rifleman... I need some help with architect

Get Dom 1 and start making Bone Armor. Much better exp then anything else eng 4 can make.

Yeah...but you need Dom 1 to make the fiberplast panels. I bit the bullet and built hundreds of survey tools. They only give a little over 50xp per item, butonly use metal so it makes it easier to mine.

Ok having recently become a novice Architect perhaps I can help.

I got the Xp from Engineering IVto Novice inabout two days. I could of got there faster if I had power gamed,if thats what you wanna do. The way I got there was by making bone armor chest plates, you get over 500 xp points per one you make. I got the materials by running destroy (or you could do delivery) missions to get cash and I bought my materials, it's faster this way and destroy missions you will also pick up some rifle experiece (currently I'm level 3 on rifle). Now I don't know exactly how much total supplies you will need to build the chest plates you will need. I'd buy1k of fiberplast, 500-750 in inert petro chemical, 2500-3000 hides, 1500 in bone, and 1k inmetal. When you make the bone armor chest plates they will require 3 fiberplast panels and 1 bone segment for each one so you will gain some xp from that as well. This will get you there quicker also running the missions for cash for the materials will give you a break in between crafting sessions.

And the best part is when you hit novice architect, you're not going to be able to make anything worth selling.

at eng 4, i like making heavy axes. those plus exp should get you there fast.

Armor is good, but its more things you need to collect and make just to make the armor.

So I should try to make bone armor? I guess that would be good, I have enough money to buy the parts and I have my own personel mineral extractors. Oh and about the metal, couldnt steel work for it?

Seriously, you don't want to be an architect.

There are only 2 craft professions that have so been neglected by the devs that they cannotmake all their schematics. The same bugs existed and werereported multiple times in beta. Those professions are architect and chef.

Save yourself a lot of grief and do any other craft.

I think you are going to find architect extremely frustrating and might consider choosing something else. The path from Eng 4 to novice is nothing. Wait till you spend days gathering resources for a PA hall and then lose it all in one critical fail.

I know,I already am about to finishnovice rifleman like I said, and I have SOME scout skills, mostly just survival, then I have pistol I and advanced ranged support III and about to finish that. I am also thinking of getting some medical skills. When I truly figure out what I want to do then I will decide, but right now I am looking at rifleman and architect

Heya...you get 500 structure XP and no General Craft XP for personal harvesters...that is why you are seeing little change....the suggestion to get Dom 1 is a good one and then you can make BA...it is approx 3200 GCXP for a full suit of bone armor (and that doesnt count practicing on pieces that had experimentation failures).GL The path from ENG 4 to Novice Arch was VERY tedious.
