Thread: Is there alot of Grinding in this profession?

No, either way you define grinding.
If you think grinding is making the same things over and over, well yeah there is a lot of that. But compared to other 2nd tier crafter professions, architect levelling is relatively easy. Our stuff is worth more experience per pop because of the huge ammounts of resources we use. I was able to get to master arch in a little over a week without using a factory. I had a whole guild feeding me resources tho...
If you think grinding is making useless things and deleting them, no, there is none of that required. You can level just fine making stuff you will eventually need anyways. Structure mods and wall mods are used all the way up the tree. Now if you are a die-hard grinder addict and won't be satisfied unless you are getting max exp per second, then you can grind on crafting stations at 900 a pop (450 metal ea) and go up fast. But you don't have to do that at all to level at a respectable rate.
