Thread: Week Three List of 5
Tempest wrote:Your reports are well written obviously you spent some time on them but 90% of the issues you are reporting are not Architect problems they are general problemsthat affect anyone. Need to address the real issues. Im sorry if this sounds critical but im seeing you NOT report issues which we are bringing up and need addressing rather like this report 4 of the 5 are not even Architect issues they are issues that affect everyone basically.
What other "real" Architect specific issues are there that haven't already been addressed in previous reports?
Medium Flora – 21070 total
Heavy Flora - 24400 total
Umm what the hell??? I still cant get my harvesting mechanism schematic to open up to be able to make any of these???
How the hell are people making these to get these numbers??
Quit flaming the correspondent. You can rip Sony a new (_o_), but please, the correspondent is unpaid and is doing everything right.
Every issue in this current list is a product that we architects make, use AND sell. If that doesn't make it an architect issue, then I don't know what will. Think of this... if a specific gun ate up a ton of resources, and was weaker than a CDEF, don't you think it would be a weaponsmith issue?
Sure, these issues have an effect on some people who aren't architects... but the fact of the matter is: These issues affect EVERY architect.
If you wish to go on complaining about the issues already submitted, then please do so in another thread. This one is meant for submitting NEW issues.

And why are they taking all this time to nerf such and such class or such and such lair when we still have broken items and broken houses and PA halls????
Zac is not doing anything wrong, he's just doing exactly what SOE asked him to do. Organize the complaints/issues, and forward 5 of them each week for them to review.
The problem here is that SOE is not giving any feedback to the majority of the playerbase and has all but dissappeard from the boards except for the occasional post lock cause they don't like it.
Its time q Picks a new rep.
i nominate no_bargain...
he is very experienced from beta, knows all the game well, understands gaming in general and has a firmer grasp on real issues than many of the Holoclown groupies who infest this board.

the problem is zac cant properly determine what is an bug/issue versus wishlist items.

You're assuming that there's someone else who wants the job! Everyone I've spoken with in game isplanningto stay as far away fromjob as possible! What a crap job, volunteer, put in a bunch of time, don't get paid, and his reward:He has to deal with us bitching users telling him that he sucks. You're really encouraging the next correspondent to step forward as do a good job with such great rewards.

There is no hard facts on what role complexity plays in creating items and failure rates. However a quick skim over this list and you'll see that the complexities are all over the map.
Even without thehard numbers, a Master level couch should not be on the same complexity levelas aPA hall.
The entire tree needs to be re-balanced. Furniture needs to be lowered in some areas, and Buildings/Installations need to be raised and lowered in others.
Asmall generic house style 2 is almost as complex as a medium house. All the schematics from each tier should be on par with the rest of that tier. Such as what we see in Buildings III, all the schematics are balanced with each other at complexity 25.
WHY in hell do we have a furniture tree? this to me should be in the dom arts tree and not architch tree.
They could easily move the whole tree to dom arts, and give us the player city buildings in there.
ie, basic shuttle port, medium shuttleport, starport.
insurance terminals that are player driven and not dev driven. (ie we set the prices)
Cloning facilities that are also player driven.
Garage for vehicles
Stable for Pets
Town Hall
Mayors House (costs no lots to the current mayor)
Fountains, Gardens, other things that prevent people from dropping a harvester in your back yard.
Walls.
OK, got my wish list off my chest now.
