Thread: Devs Giveth and Devs Taketh Away
Actually I posted a thread earlier, perhaps my title (Troubling news from the TC) was to coy though ![]()
Heres the link to the wonderful thread that basically nerfs all crafting professions for unknown reasons:

Although I think this really hurts every crafting class, all I can say is that we architects are to blame, our generic small houses were just to powerful and were ruining game balance
You are absolutely right, Zhuga. Those small houses were just too good. They had to be nerfed, for the sake of balance.
Anywho, I can't get too excited about this either way. It's not like our experimentation has ever worked before. So now, it's just going to continue to not work. All in all, I'm no more or less miserable than I have been up to now.

Hi,
well, as far as I experienced it, you have two parameters which limits the result:
Material and Points
If you need OQ for good results and you have Material with OQ900 you will end up at 90%, even if you have 20 Points to experiment left. If you have more than one component which counts into the total "OQ Value" and one has OQ900 and one has OQ 0 you will most likely end up with an Overall OQ of 400. That is the Problem that is discussed here.
Right now Materials which have no OQ at all would simply be ignored. Which means you would get an pverall OQ of 900 even if the second material has no OQ Value. In the Future this would be OQ 400, which means dead end at 40% for experimenting.
In other words, 10 Points for experimenting are useless, because you will always end up at 5 to 6 points used for experimentation on Architects stuff in this case.
I hope its more obvious now what is the problem, if not, call me names :-)
Read ya.
