Happy Trails ...

Actually, I am dropping Master Arch in a couple of weeks myself.... Been doing it a couple of months now and overall it has been fun. I got what I wanted out of it..met alot of people, made stuff for my guild and city...ect....

In the last couple of weeks it has gotten to be nofun at all for me. Heck, I rarely even take an order anymore. After these 17 BER14 Fusions are done then Im stock piling everything I could ever need for myself ....Like the previous person who posted there is nothing for us todo but sit around and make stuff....

Dear Friends, Enemies and Halfwitted Devs,

It is with great sadness that I am announcing my retirement from the game. One year is way too long to have PAID to play beta. When I pay my dentist to fix a tooth it does not take one year to fill a rotting cavity. The Devs have prolonged our agony for far too long. Friends, we have shared the good times and the bad. Mostly bad on these forums. Some good ideas have flowed from you all. I hope for your sakes that this game and profession will one day mean more than Nerf Wars and incompetent Devs arbitrarily breaking the things that do work. This game at some point must have had a concept. At the present it seems as though the new concept is coming from the midnight janitor whom has little or no concept of RPG's or even the SWG universe for that matter.

Talon, I will forever think of you as a brother and I will you my passion for the game.

Sky, Sio, fan. You have truly been inspirations to me.

Aakh. Keep slamming the Devs. Shooting from the hip is something I know a lot about.

Tivo. You are one of the most respected CH. Although our play styles have differed I wish you all the luck in your creature taming endeavors.

Blind. Keep up the precisely worded posts. Maybe even dumb them down a little for the Devs by using one syllable words.

Vert. I feel that I must address you especially. Take care of my comrades. I do not doubt you communicate with the Devs and try to have our pleas heard. I cannot know that you have the passion I did have for this class. That cannot be measured from my perspective. If indeed you do, I know you will get some changes made. This class was the sole profession I knew I would love to play. It has failed to meet anything remotely close to enthusiasm since the Nerf.

The game ought to be fixed by now. Ought implies can. They have not. So either they cannot or will not. Since the advent of the Holocron the Devs have floundered their way through the direction of one new class rather than fix the classes they have broken. They have indeed broken all the classes. Allowing the game come to market in such a state of Chaos only shows they intended to short change the entire community of SWG. The one class that did work got nerfed 6 months into the game. The excuse was perceived GODLIKE abilities of CH. The Devs failed to realize that CH was not over powered but rather perfectly working.

Thunderheart made such extravagent promises of trade offs such as specials on command. These special have never worked as we CH's assumed they would. Nor do they have any real affect for the purposes of PvP.

Which brings us to the combat revamp. The Devs assured us that part of our nerf was in advance of the Combat Revamp. This wraith-like phase of the game would ensure that most characters be somewhat the same in power with differing abilities to allow for better PvP game play. In short, this has not occurred. 7 months after the Initial Phase of the Combat Revamp we CH are still waiting. This can be likened to having a mechanic change a flat tire for you. It is broke and needs fixed. The mechanic pulls off the bad tire and leaves the car to sit for another 7 months. CH is nothing more than a rotting old broken tire. The Devs do not have any mechanical ability to fix the problem or they just will not.

No Devs dares to post here because he realizes how much he has screwed us over. The Devs should hang their heads in shame. They have intentionally danced around problems with all the grace of an epileptic fish out of water. Spouting the funny rethoric of manufactured statements issued from marketting. Word of mouth on this game has already spread like an infectious disease. The fact I bought it even after hearing it sucked shows how fallible I am.

The Devs lead many to believe the Hutt Faction would be present in the game. It is not.

The Devs promised one SWG planet would be bigger than an EQ server. It is not.

The Devs had many belieing Thunderheart would improve communications. He has not.

Thunderheart as a community PR person attacked the CH community with the Pokemon phrase and has never once offered and apology. Great community PR there Kurt. You forever will be Blunderheart to many CH. Never mind the some pets are cowards statement. You obviously are clueless to the game mechanics and have not ventured to play CH. BH, words of advice to live by: It is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool; than open it and prove you are indeed a fool. Keep your mouth shut, many will be ok with you never posting to the CH forums. You do not belong here. You are indeed a perfect example of the shoddiness of this game.

Ruined Sabre. If you are anything at all you will come to this forum and address the complaints and criticisms of this game. Until such time that occurs eveyr CH will assuredly tell their friends that this game is not worth two cents a month let alone 15 bucks.

JustG. Your state of the game reflects that you are aware we are being screwed over. The combat revamp must come. If I were you I would screw the Dev staff over and present the rather curteous indicators the State of the Game is in a shambles.

Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I will no longer remain in a state of chaos.

For those who are staying I bid you a fond goodbye and may you eventually be granted a game that works. For the present I can be fouund playing COH on the Freedom server. My name is Planet X (had to stick with the solar system motif).

I don't even know what to say pluto.

We faced so many obsticles together, gought so many battles side by side. Both in game and on these boards.

We climbed our way to master CH together with all the pride that comes with it. I suppose it only Appropriate that we both leave together even if it is in different ways.

I wish you luck pluto. I plan on sticking with the game a bit longer hopeing maybe it will live up to the promise, but I somehow doubt that.

I don't really know you, but I just wanted to say that most of the people I've played with regularly over the last year have also left. It seems like they are either going to City of Heroes or Dark Age of Camelot. Some are just leaving and don't know where to go. I've gotten pretty frustrated myself at times. Recently something happened that has made me also consider leaving. Hopefully they will get things together soon though. If the CSR's help me out of my current problem I will stay.
