I have 2 accounts. My Master Architect and Almost Master Armorsmith.
I am gonna donate the City Hall to my PA on the first day to start our city. However they will be paying for the rest of the city stuff at3 cpusince I am the one providing all the resources.
Outside my PA Icharge 6 cpu, needless to say I don't get alot of orders. There is alot of Architects on Intrepid and I am tired of fighting for bussiness and mostly just cater to the PA. I am almost a Master Armorsmith also and again I am focusing on my PA
They won't be able to place a city hall until their "Politician" has leveled appropriately anyway.
Patch day isn't going to mean much until that happens.
I believe a Novice Politician can place a town hall.
We will have those on day one.
Yep. That's what I have read and understood anyway. Novice politician gets the pie.
I'm a middle sized PA. We will not be puchasing any of the city buildings, however, our architect said that he feels there will be 2 prices:
Cheep Architects Between 300K to 500K
Everyone Else Between 500K to 1Mil
Cheep architects are of one of three varieties:
A) the Grinder
B) the popular guy (not so popular in RL, so this is where they find their value)
C) the non Capitalist I like crafting guy(a guy that makes more then enoug money for their expenses, but does not have a fat bank roll)
The not so cheep architects can be lumped into one of 2 categories:
A) the Capitalist (highest price the market can afford while still moving volume)
B) the gouger (I THINK my goods to be as valuable as weapons and those that buy millions of credits on ebay think I'm a good value - hehe - just had to get that in)
Good Luck to all of you. Thanks for your efforts.
BTW: I was an architect in a former life, so I buy from the Capitalist guy (I sell resources at a fair price and still make a mint, so I give it back to the crafters that buy from me).
You forgot
D. The good businessman that knows that providing his customer with high value items at a greatly reduced cost will garner him more business in the future.
i don't have the exact recipie in front of me but its something like
1800 metal
4400 ore
20 walls
6 power cores
6 strorage modules
at 3 credits per unit its about 275k. Thats cost. Figure with CF and assembly cost they'll probably run about 300k

Most people on these forums talk about credits per resource. Now , we take a leap from SWG and into real life.Using the correlation , on why big businesses move out of the United States for labor. Yes , the labor is cheap in other countries, like for instance , Mexico. These companies exploit the cheap labor and sell their finnished product at vastly inflated prices. Even the hardware in all of your computers, costs only a couple dollars in labor. Mechanics charge 50-70 dollars an hour to repair cars. Why? you say? Labor is what inflates the price and other phantom variable is the standard of living cost.
Now let's say that our standard of living is equivilent to our "fun factor" , i like to have fun while playing as an architect, so i try to get the most out of the labor that i put into it. Setting your price and then haggling for a couple K credits is fun.
Now we go to the demand part of this...Initially demand will be high, but let's think about this. Won't the demand for a city hall always be high? I mean they allow someone to create a city for cryin out loud! Now if you were a consumer , what would you expect to pay for a city hall. Personally , i would expect no less than 1 mil credits. This is the most powerful structure in the game and can affect many people in the game, it should Notbe taken lightly.
And back to the credits per resource, yeah it's about 270K resources; but i charge for labor and value.
Think of it as a diamond in the rough. ![]()
