I *think* I follow this question... so I'll answer as I interpreted it. There is a maximum that a single line of experimentation can go. And if you achieve an Amazing Success, the best you can hope for is that you hit that maximum with less experimentation points, which would then leave more points (potentially) for use on other areas of experimentation. The "Amazing Success" won't allow you to exceed the cap which is based on the quality of the resources used.

That used to be the case, but at some point SOE decided that is an exploit and 'fixed' it.

Actually, a 45 wouldn't just require nearly perfect resources, but it requires completely perfect resources. I have the exact calculation for crafting station ratings. Unless the resources are all 1000s for relevent properties (Including a steel with 1000 conductivity and 1000 OQ), I don't see any legit way of hitting 45. Last I heard you're still looking for Lafi, Elliot.

on that last statement...If that means you have some at a fair price...I might take it. If its saying what would I make a good tool from...he used his clients resources.

did you really make them to 15.0 ? Gratz ! A while ago I made a bundle for personal use only with the 1000 copper, I made it to 99% but got 14.99, I had assumed that was the cap (i.e. 15.0 was just not possible).
