Thread: New architect nerf on TC ??
I think part of the problem is that at the moment there is no real need for the merchant class. The devs put the merchant class into the game to act as the dealer for artisians to buyers. With every artisian having their own vendor inside their own house why should there be a merchant class? Find a Merchant in a good location that has raised their skills to the point of being able to reduce the vendor maintence to an acceptable level and have them sell your goods for you.

test center just implemented a vendor payment system based somehow on how much you are charging on your vendor
If this is true, I for one will have a serious problem. Not only are furniture sales down 1000%, now my vendors are going to cost as much as harvesters to maintain? So much for using vendors as 'extra storage' to get around the max item nerf.
This is getting out of hand. I can see 3 months from now we will have 20 item inventories and backbacks will add another 20. Your bank? Lucky if it will hold 50 by then. Houses for storage? LOL they were never intended to be used that way...
As has been mentioned many times vendors are not for storage. However at the same time this approach to charging for vendors is regressive and hurts the low end players and people hard up for cash flow (like architects can be). A better system would be a flat fee + commission.
Besides sell the item for 1 credit and put it in the store room if you want to still store.
I wouldnt mind 100 a day forvendors provided they fix the skiulls in the merchant tree so it lowers that. But per proice of the items its selling is insane.I wont hire commission sales people in real life so why would I in game.
