I tried (as a mayor) to drop a garden on the roof of a PA Hall .... "you are too close to guild hall".

ok, i tried to drop it on the balcony of a house .... "you are too close to Medium Tatooine House"

so looks like no one can decorate them at the moment

Seems to be a simple approach might work here. Consider this:

1. The game knows where the center of a house is located, hence the waypoints.

2. Figure the x and y value ranges for each type of structure.

3. When you go to drop an item, check to see if the player is within those ranges AND is the owner/admin of the house, let it drop the furniture where they stand.

Or to make it really simple, see if the player is standing in the green area of the structure (on the map) and let them drop furniture if they own the structure who's green area they're standing on.

I wonder if a city official is able to drop items on a balcony. Perhaps I should ask my mayor to try to drop a street lamp on mine as a test. I'll post again when I find out.

...Of course this IS a city structure (the street lamp,) and in no way would indicate that "normal" items could be dropped...

I want to drop a food & chem crafting tool on my balcony... looks incredibly like a BBQ grill!
