I think this will be useful for more than just the arches out there
Agreed. I just spammed it to the Armorsmith and Weaponsmith forums.
If any of you know someone that feels strongly about this issue then let them know about the 3 threads in the Core systems forum.
thats a change i long time wish for, hope it will happen, its rediculous anyways that crates and vary from 5 (DE) to 100 (Armor layers)
thats definately unfair and not good imo.
no matter what crates they all should have same max amount. safes storage space and brings fairness at all.
little example for the obvious unfairness:
an armorsmith makes 40 composit segments with max layer amount, he will need 120 layers which are in crates up to 100 pieces so he exactly needsonly 2 crates of layersfor that.
now let an architect makes someething which would needs 120 crate items from a master artisan aka GPModules for a prodcution, then he needs 5 crates already cause they are in 25 piece crates.
another thing is like if i make a harvester deeds in factory they are NOT even in a crate and come out all single lol
something needs to be changed asap

Another reason that stacking is a great idea is for crafters who have to move things from their inventory into a factory or vice versa and end up screaming in frustration when the darn things just show the radial menu - which is a known "feature" forever now. I sometimes spend an hour trying to put components into a factory, mostly because I keep having to click the piece over and over again until I get the freaking hand and drop it into the factory.
Drives me batty. And having to do this with OMUs is enough to make me look elsewhere for my gaming enjoyment you know? ![]()
