Far from broken??????? You're kidding right?

Lets take the holo grind madness away.. Now people don't need to grind thru an elite crafting profession for nothing.. Have you considered the effect of what the holo chase did to architect.. It was an economic boost to extremes.. However now that the market is much more saturated then it ever would of been without the holo-craze, what do you think is going to happen to the architect profession when people no longer have to hologrind with the new FSCS quest revamp? I'll tell you what will happen.. SALES of harvesters, resources, and factories will drop like a brick.. Given the fact that virtually all that you are sold previously in the mad rush to being Jedi are non parishable, I see Architects being very dead end shortly..

Good luck tho in your businesses when it happens

In comparisons to other professions.. as far as how things work.. yes we are not in that bad of shape.. Our bug lists had 2 bugs and 2 or three more that are close enough to be called a bug.. other professions have entire skill trees broken.. items that they craft that do not work.. specials that do not work.. etc.. etc.. that is what was ment from the comment..

I agree. Right now the "broken" things we've got are not all that bad. You can work around our bugs and we don't have anything that is flat out broken. Experimentation on fusions doesn't work but you can still make a BER14 that works perfectly fine.

The long term viability of the architect business is something that will require addressing eventually but it is not a drastic immediate need. (YMMV) If need be they can always just change harvesters again in 2-3 months (e.g. add BER 14 & 15 heavies) and voila we've got a whole round of new business that will last us a while. (pretty much what they did back in November) Actually patch 7 will include decaying light sources (new and ongoing business) and player garages (new thing to make). So that should help a little bit in the near term. Sooner or later they'll do something with fusion experimentation and then we'll all be able to sell a bunch of fusions again I'd expect.

Very well put pawlin, I would just like to say that along with the vanquishing of holo madness, it wont only be our customers that become more scarce but also our competition. I think things will equal out pretty much. I dont know about you big dealers, but I have been pretty steadily making 3-4million a week in profit, and I am just a small shop, I can absolutely live with this. Sure, I can remember doing 3 million a day, but with any market economy there will be booms and lull's, and I am not starving

Gotta agree. Unfortunately I really feel for the little guy sometimes. It took monumental efforts to get my business machine to this point. Anyone want to REALLY be a full-time architect has 6 major players against them on Tempest who can produce much more reliably and in far greater quantities, of which I am one. For us SIX (that I count) life's gonna remain pretty good, if not better.
