I usually have guild mates help me with the lots....so I just find the highest concentration I can find w/in a 2k radius and put them there. I don't like running all over the plant just to find that 1-2% difference....So far I've found 59% and I have 32 Heavies on it right now, and I'm happy with that find.

One thing I find interesting is that for the past 4 ore shifts, I haven't had to move those 32 heavies. A new spawn pops up right under the old one. Sure it may be a few % lower, but frankly I don't care. I would rather have a farm and use the redeed money on getting resources. ![]()

>We can **edit** and moan and whine and complain about
>"the devs don't understand us" or "there are undercutters
>/ price gougers out there" or "I don't have enough lots"
>or "OMUs don't crate" or yada yada yada.
Actually overall I'm very happy with the Arch profession. I love it to death, as it were, and I will never give it up.
I've been one since day one, and these days people recognize me on Gorath as one of the first MAs there.
I don't care what other people charge, I don't care about bussiness models, I just have a lot of fun making things people want to buy from me, at my own fair prices.
Be that as it may, for me this ore concentration stuff is the one single thing I find upsetting about the whole profession as it is today. Sure we could use more stuff to sell and so on and so forth, but.. For a single Arch, who doesn't have a guild behind him to place 30+ harvs on a location it's irritating when most of your time is spent not making or promoting your items, but looking over several planets for an ok concentration of ore. So please don't consider this b**ching or whining over the profession in general, overall I'm very very happy with it. It's just a pet peeve of mine, and if I don't air it I'm only making sure nothing will be done about it.
>Keep your colourization issues and your terrain friendly
>harvesters and your malls and whatnot. I'll take higher
>concentrations of ore, thank you very much.
Amen.
I'm just glad to see I'm not the only one not liking it. At least I'm not crazy for finding it frustrating.
Cheers,
Morlok

The other thing that bothers me about it though is that the highest concentrations ALWAYS seem to be in no build zones. Either they are to close to a city, on rough terrain, on a lake, or in the middle of a forest.
Sure I found a 68% spot and I was giddy, Was much better than the 51% spot I had them on in the previous resource shift. I went into my inventory and clicked on my deed. "Building not permitted here" I was to close to Theed.
So I marked the closest build spot (ended up being 55-57% and went looking for more.
Found a nice 63% spot, once again "Building not permitted here" and it was in the middle of open plains. Why is the middle of nowhere marked as a no build zone? My opinion has become 'because the ore concentration is high'.
