Thread: And I quote: Holy s#$t, you are WAY overpriced
I have found the stradegy good to give people both a credit price and resource price - what I mean by that is I will say that I will either charge 170k for a large harv with 13 extraction rate or 68k in resources and so on. I use to actually do it where I valued the resources at 3c/resource - but have been able to buy more at 2c/resource myself so now I just take the price and divide by 2.5.
Often I will be passing through a city and see someone asking for a particular resource and I will tell them I have x amount I can spare at 3c/resource - well since they want it right away, and that's a fair price, I get it and in a sense sell my harv for more than the 170k credits.
Seems people are more willing to part with resources than credits and I can make the money back later by selling the resources or using them to make other structures myself. I mean, really with one of the extraction 13's even harvesting at early 70's you get around 13k a day (just basing that on some ore ones I have running atm) so they can make back the harv costs within 5 days and from that point on it's all theirs.
That guy wouldn't live very long on Bloodfin. LOL
Small houses run for 10k, no questions asked. Even the noob architects know better than that. You sell a small house for 5k, and you are out of business in a few days - You can't keep with that kind of demand, your supply vanishes quickly, or you end up paying through the nose for resources from miners. The dumbness of people still amazes me.
Game on!
