Thread: How to annoy an architect
2 - persuade an architect to build you a factory by saying over and over that you have a ton of resources saved up. when he finally agrees, give him the 3k ore and act like it's supposed to mean something
3 - when you see an architect is selling houses for more than 2 credits/resource, spam the hell out of him and tell him he's an **edit** for ripping off people. afterwards go buy another pistol for 30k
4 - when you're spamming the architect, repeat the phrase "i got a friend who only charges this much" over and over. don't the fact your friend is in a large PA and has 100 donated lots and maintenance credits
5 - always ask for a discount, even if they're only making 2-3 credits/resource. matter of fact don't ask, be an **edit** about it
Offer to make wall modules to master architects for 10k a pop ... good xp for you and they can use those modules. Forget making the actual houses because nobody is willing to pay what they are worth.
Or if you not concerned about xp just sell the resources for cash.
and how about "i'm looking for a small house /tell me" then say "i got one for 10k" then get "i go my other one for 2k"
or PROBOT FOR 50k!!!!! but can't sell a house for more than 5k

Idiot: Do you sell medium houses?
Me: Yes, would you like to order one?
Idiot: Yes.
Me: Ok, send me an e-mail please and I'll get in touch as soon as it's done.
Idiot: Are you at your shop now?
Me: Yes, why?
Idiot: Ok. I have to catch a starship, but I'll be there in about ten minutes.
Me: Oh, did you want to see some examples?
Idiot: Duh. No, genius. I want to pick up my house.
Me: I have a couple orders ahead of yours I'm working on. I don't expect yours will be ready until Thursday.
Idiot: THURSDAY? **edit**? Srecw you, ******!
And my personal favorite - - --
Idiot: How much do you charge for medium houses?
Me: 55K
Idiot: That's ****ing rediculous! How many resources does it take?
Me: Quite a lot. That's why they cost more than smalls.
Idiot: I want a list of all the resources that are used. I'll get the **edit** resources myself and you can combine them.
Me: And what are you offering for me to combine them?
Idiot: You really are a greedy **** aren't you? How do you stay in business?

Yes... these are real conversations I've had.
Stick to your guns boys. I sell those medium houses for 75K and have a backlog of orders.
I've heard all the same conversations and I just tell the *idiot* to go make it themselves if they don't like it.
I got a good one. This annoyed the hell out of me.
While scouting potenialy better ore deposits on Endor, a guy asked me if I can built him a small generic house. Having considered the fact that I will have to return to Naboo to get the materials and the return ticket fare, I quoted him a price of 17.5K (thinking back, I was WAY generous). The following is the conversation that took place (roughly).
customer: hey, can you make small generic house?
me: yeah, I can.
customer: ok, I am thinking about putting one here on endor. These works on endor right.
me: well, I never really personallytried to place it on endor, but I'd assume it's possible.
customer: how much do you charge?
me: well, since I banked all my spare resources on Naboo, I will have to return to naboo and get them.
customer: that's ok..i can wait......
me: it'll take me a while to return from naboo. (trying to hint to him that I really don't want to go back to Naboo this early, but knowing that it's a bad thing to refuse business, I was trying a more subtle approach)
customer: that's alright, I'll be on Endor for a while.
me: hmm....alright, I'll have to ask for 17.5 k for the house deed.
customer: LOL...what a rip off! I can get one for 9k! you really shouldn't be over pricing like that.
me: well, I would not try to bother you with how my pricing policy goes, but if you can get one for 9k, more power to you. Good luck with placing your home here.
customer: oh, come on, why won't you help out a fellow player?
me: i don't think this has to do with helping out or not.
customer: how about if I were to exchange a small cor. house for a small generic house and you can lower your price.
at this point I was .......... fed up....... This guy not only ask me to go back to Naboo to get the material, he then question my price, attempt to bargain with me pretending that he is my "friend", then have the nerve to ask for an exchange. Why do people think that's alright? Do people go to their favorite weaponsmith and says "hey, weaponsmith, I see that you have that shinny brand new FGW5 out, It has more damage, better fire rate, and lower HAM cost. How about I exchange this old FGW5 that I have with your new FGW5 and you give me a discount on the new FGW5?" .....what the hell would a weaponsmith want a old FGW5 for? He can freaking make tons of FGW5! Why would anybody think it's alright to ask for an exchange from an architect? Do we look like Walmart's customer service?
