I just ran into someone claiming they had 3 14's, which I had never seen before. So I went to work and got a omu of 97% and an overall of 97%, which gave me a 13. So which is it? 13 or 14? if it is 14, how high % do you need to get for that thing???

Thanks

I think you were able to make 14's a while back..

Well awhile ago 10's were great, I remember when those came out I thought wow. I know the fusions have changed downward, but I didn't think the heavy minerals had.

We've never had any credible reports of people making BER14 harvesters. Everything that we know about the calculation says that it isn't possible. We have heard of people who have been confused about heavy harvesters and fusions.

This myth just won't disappear. No one was ever able to ever make a BER-13 harvester other than a fusion generator. Get a life and stop trying to bring back this myth.

Odean,

I need to get a life because when someone made a claim I thought I would come to a credible source and find out??? My first inclination wasn't to call them a liar we must have different outlooks on people.I don't claim to know everything and just wanted to find out if it could be true. It was just a question, if you weren't interested in the topic, move along, your unfriendly comments aren't helpful.

Well I have lost count how many times I have posted it and how many times it has been posted.

The best possible heavy mineral miner is a BER 13, that goes for all the heavy harvesters; Water, Gas, Chem and Floral. This is the highest current and recorded BER for Heavy harvesters. I also have no problem calling those people who have BER 14 heavy harvesters a Liar as I have yet to see any proof to the fact, I have asked many time of those who "said" the have done it to tell me what they did to do it and no have ever responded or even a screen shot to prove that they have done it.

I believe this myth was started when someone, not knowing the difference between a Fusion Generator and the other heavy harvesters, stated they have or know of someone who got a BER 14 Fusion and thought it was one of the heavy harvesters.

I just want this clarified while we're all at it, and before I spend another 200k over at Mem's and Choco's on high-end steel.

I know 14s are a Myth (this is in relation to heavy Mineral Harvesters, not Fusion Gens), but are 13s possible at all?

I've had people tell me they've owned 13s, but I've yet to see actual proof. Given that Experimentation was Nerfed, I'm guessing that any 13s that do exist are a dying breed, and I should be content with the 12s I'm consistently pumping out.

I hit an amazing 97% Experimentation on my Ore Mining Units, and still only got them to BER6 each, and my final production was almost as good (92% I believe), so I'm having trouble believing that 13s can be made anymore.

I don't know what "proof" you'll accept. Make a character on Wanderhome, come to my vendor, and see the BER13 harvesters on it.

I made them with OMUs at +96 and high 80s in the final assembly and was able to put 2 points into storage.

Same here 97%OMUS and I hit the 13 around 80-90 on the final assembly.

I currently have 20 BER 13's on my Vendor, he is online now, and easy to find. I invite anyone to look (and buy ) I made, and have shown a few folks here, 4 14's (Minerals, not Fusions) but this was at patch, and they where bugged. 13's seem to be the best you can expect from a mineral, 14 for a Fusion, and 12 is the best I have made for Flora & Chems. If there is a way to make better chems & flora's, please let me in ( i can't find the trick so far)

I've made BER13 of *every* kind of heavy, just using the same type of logic and materials.

I do believe I was able to make 2 Flora Heavy Harvesters with extraction rate of 14 before player city patch and gave them to my guildmate in Corbantis. I'm not sure of the timeline exactly when this happen since I stopped playing a few weeks after I have him his flora harvesters. If I remember correctly, I tried making this after they gave Architect full experimentation points.

The reason, I know this is that my guildmate was asking me again if I can make Flora Harvester with base extraction of 14. I remember too that I made him a fusion with base 16 extraction. SOE must have released patch that had limited the base extraction of heavy harvesters to 13 and fusion to 14 a few days after I made those harvesters.

His 2 Heavy flora harvester was fully experimented and I used a good durra-alloy and kamiris iron for it.

Can someone verify if they can still make Heavy Flora Harvester at base 14. I am thinking Base 14 only applies to Fusion and Flora.
