Thread: IMPORTANT! Tonight's Harvester Fix on TC *READ if you want to maximize your current harvesters*

Tonight (Thursday Oct 9th) they put a patch up on TC to fix the harvesters with nerfed capacities.

1) Harvesters that were deployed during the patch DID NOT CHANGE (*sigh*, so I've still got 3 heavy harvesters with <20K capacity).

2) ALL harvesters in Deed form were reverted to ORIGINAL values, regardless if they were bugged or not. So both a 6Kg/hr extraction with 34K capacity and a 4Kg/hr extraction rate with 5.5K capacity sitting in my inventory were converted to 4 Kg/hr, 50K capacity deeds.

What this means to people on LIVE:

If you have created new deeds with nice extraction rates and adequate capacities: deploy these harvesters immediately! You don't want them being converted back to the old extraction rates.

If you have old deeds with unacceptable capacities: yank them up now! I don't care if it's sitting on a 1000 stat, 99% density spot. It willremain worthless after the patch if its not in Deed form when the patch goes to live.

Wait a minute, so you're saying that as of right now on test center, they are only going to revert the deeds themselves back? But currently deployed harvesters do not change? What about after they are yanked up? Will they also revert back? I don;t care one way or the other, but it needs to be all or nothing in my opnion. I would guess they will do it the same way they have it now, only reverse. Deeds will get changed right away, deployed harvesters will change back after they get pulled the first time after the patch. So is experimentation ONLY for capacity as Q3PO stated?

By the way, thanks for running to the forums to inform us of this. There are too few architects on test center, and we need all the insight we can get. I'm not one to talk though, I don;t have a character there either.

One more question, what abotu harvestes that were deployed before the patch, ahev run during the patch, and have thus far not been affected by any of the post patch changes, will those stay the same without difficulty?

When they put the patch on live, if you have a harvester deployed, it will not change from whatever it was when you deployed it, regardless of when you created it.

If you have a harvester Deed, it WILL change to original values, regardless of when you created it.

What happens if you deed a harvester that was deployed pre-hotfix? Does it still retain its potentially uber stats?

If its still deployed when they patch, then yes.

I was wondering about that as well Joshie. If the stats stay "uber" even after the next patch fixes it, then I will stay up all night tonight and do whatever it takes to upgrade every one of my own harvesters. However, if it is just going to go back to the old stats when I re-deed it again, I wont bother.

wow, really. then it looks like I have a long night ahead of me. My resources aren;t good enough to make a 10 rated harvester, but I can definately make a 9, and I plan to make several. Is this patch going live tomorrow (as in a few hours) or the day after?

The only time the stats change is during the patch. You can redeed, deploy, or whatever you want to do with your harvesters without it changing stats. The stats on your existing harvesters will only change if they are in deed form WHEN they patch.

I should also note that the patch is not affecting your creation process. I was still able to make experimented harvesters after the patch (yay!), so you don't need to create new ones. This patch will only affect harvesters that exist in Deed form during the patch.
