Thread: OMU's are going to be looked at.

An oversite? That would suggest this was the first they heard of it - I seriously doubt that.

I don't doubt it at all. I fundamentally believe the devs are not hearing our issues whatsoever from the Architect playerbase.

They're the same size as all the other similar components (TFDP, HHU, etc) so I don't see where that argument would hold water.
Still, given the "Arooo? Whazzat? OMU's aren't crating?!? This is the first we've heard of THIS!" reaction from the devs, I don't expect any action on this front any time soon.
Go in a house, pull a wall out, pull a power core out, pull a OMU out.
Does this make sense? Don't think so.

OMUs serve the same role as Turbo Fluidic Drilling Pump Units or Heavy Harvester Units, both of which crate up just fine, so I don't see any logic at all in OMUs being uncrated.
Honestly, every time I try to visualize the software "objects" that form the basis of the game, I cannot for the life of me understand why it is difficult to change "crate_size_max" from 0 to 10 for the OMUs. And if it isn't structured (conceptually) that way, then I just shake my head.
