Ok this is what I have put together based on what I have been reading.. I will smooth this out over the next day or so and submit this to the devs... I wanted to let you guys see what I am interpreting and give oportunity for you to add feed back .. Let me know what you think... ( and yes i know there are some spelling errors.. )

thanks..

Condensed list...

Issue 1) viability of the Architect Market.
Issue 2) furniture colorization
Issue 3) Resource and Crate stack limit Increases

Sub Issue 3a. Ore mining Units need to stack.....

Sub Issue 3b. Stacking needs to be enabled for Ore Mining Units...

Sub Issue 3c. stacking limits need to be increased on Ore Mining Units to more than 1.

Sub Issue 3d. Please do not forget about the Ore Mining Units....
Issue 4) Role in the GCW
Issue 5) Varity of Structures

Expanded Discription..

Issue 1)

With no Decay in our Products the rate Demand for our Product Slows Dramatically as people obtain more of our products Many servers are already reaching Saturation and Architects are in no way making the money they once used to.. This makes it very hard for New Architects to compete since most people that can sustain them selves are the already established crafters.

Solution..
Introduce some sort of Decay at least on objects that technically have moving parts.. ( factories and harvesters ) The Decay would not have to be rapid to be sufficient. this would also open the door to allowing resource quality to matter on more of our products and give crafters another element to experiment on to improve condition of their products.
Add more items. It would be nice to have quests that would give architects limited use schematics for different furnitures. this should not be too hard to implement since there are many unobtainable/uncraftable furnitures ingame already. and already there is a temporiry system ingame with the Bestine Painting system to introduce limited use Painting Schematics into the game.. a similar system could be set up and spread out throughout the galaxy to give architects the ability to redo quests to get new items to craft getting them out of their workshops everynow and then to explore the galaxy. also an item that could be considered is loot or again quest reward that would be optional componants to better existing componants to make better Harvesters / factories.. ( ie.. advanced Mining Unit.. etc.. )

Issue 2)
It was the Development team that brought the idea of furniture colorization which we of course loved.. We have gone and polled hundreds of people and we want this feature and we want it to be implemented as a step in the crafting process similar to the way tailors choose their colors for their clothes...

Issue 3)
This has been an issue since the beginning of time. with the resource demands an architects ( and now shipwrights ) the current limits on resources and crate stacks hinder the playing of these professions. We are limited on our immersion by only being able to have houses with resources.. instead of being able to decorate our own houses.. also. with the random limits on Crate stacks it makes crafting with more of a tedious chore than enjoyment. ALL items ( especially Ore mining Units ) that are created in a factory should have a stack limit of 100... and all items that have identical serial numbers should be restackable... this would also open the door for merchants to be able to put stacks of an item on their vendor and set up a Per Unit Pricing system as well..

Issue 4)
As of now crafters have no direct role in the GCW. there is no reason why for faction points a person cant buy a one use schematic from the faction recruiters and have the oppropriate faction alligned crafter craft that item for them. ( In austin I do believe I gave a workable solution for every concern the devs had with this type of a system ) This would help the commerce viablility of every craft.. and promote more starwarzy emersion by having crafters be able to expirement on and make actual good quality faction equipment. This also opens the doors to having new Faction items introduced into the game as well. This also opens the door for crafters to have in Seige roles too by being able to do repairs and whatnot of equipment.

Issue 5)
right now.. there is very little in differences between Corellian and Generic structures... After a year I do believe it is time for some new floorplans and new structures. variety is always a plus. each planet should have more housing options there are floorplans already created that could have a new exterior skin put on them. Also there are some great Cross profession structures that have been suggested that would be great to get into the game.. ( IE.. the Creature Handlers Corral Idea enableing them to have a "barn" type structure to store their pets, Malls... Crafter Workshops.. etc etc.. .) We in the architect community have a huge list of ideas that we would love to see why cant we see at least one new specialized structure every few months?

Variety of Structures might mean a lot for people who makes buildings, installations, but variety of 'missing schematics' is a BIG issue for interior designers. Those are already in game furnitures and not needing extra work.

Tailors had those in their top-5 list (and new schematics) in same topic of issues and they got them, why not we? Besides, I don't think we need quests to do furnitures that are already in many places.

Kindly regards...

I'm still concerned that furniture color during crafting (without the ability to re-color post-craft) will put an end to factory production of furniture.

I don't envy tailors that have to produce 6 billion of everything by hand just to offer a variety of colors.

issue three..

Also, I suggest the ability to restack, or even stack items where it doesn't matter which one you use. Turbines and structure modules for example.

When you work up through archy you could make stacks of turbines or something and sell to the masters. Most importantly the more stacking we can do the less load on the precious database _
