I am thinking about becomeing an architecht sooner or latter and was going to begin stock piling resources....

could i get some listing on what i should be looking for and maybe a general description of what all the categorys do and how they effect architecture?

Ore, ore, ore, ore....and then more ore...and when you're done getting that, get even more ore

-Furniture lets you build, well, furniture.

-Construction adds to your experimentation points and allows you to build the new city buildings.

-Installations allows you to build harvestors and factories.

-Buildings allows you to build houses.

A quick summary, hope it's helpful in some way

Andymantium is exactly right, but after you're done following his steps, you'll need to get ALOTof ore. ;-p Also, steel, metal, and aluminum. The most common stats used are Unit Toughness, and now Heat Resistance, Decay Resistance, and some Malleability. Unit Toughness is your biggest one though.

if you're just going to grind it cause the holocron told you then focus on structure and wall modules, those will be the ones that you can sell to other archs cause the quality don't matter.

For them you'll need metal and ore.

If you're going to try to make a go of arch for money, then you'll need steel, alum, copper, ore, reactive gas, inert gas, and chems. I usually suggest fiberplast or polymer for the chem as they have more stats.

For every unit of metal you get you'll need about 5 units of ore.

Actually Id put the metal/ore ratio at 1:2, as opposed to 1:5.Onwall modules alone the ratio is 1:2.75(2200 ore/800metal). Then most of the other subcomponents (Generator turbines, small structure storage modules, etc) are mostly metal.

If you go to www.swgcraft.com and look under the Skill Tree for schematics it will tell you the exact percentages for any profession with the Statistics link at the top of the page. No guessing but exact numbers from the available schematics. We are still updating the site from the latest patch's changes

I am thinking about starting to become a weaponsmith and had a few questions. First what is the best item to grind. (resources are not a problem). And is there a list somewhere of the type of resources that a weaponsmith requires. If I am gonna be a good weaponsmith I want to start gathering the good stuff now if I can.

Read any of the stickied posts, about half of them answer your question. Especially the recent one by Logix/Ace.

Really varies a lot from server to server. Best bet is to ask on your own server's trade forum.

Laws of supply and demand apply. If a server had 4 great Dantooine berry spawns in a row it would go for a lot less CPU than another server that has not had a decent spawn in 6 months.

Well I think we can all agree, in my opinion the hardest resource to gather is the Class 4 Petro. Seeing that it doesn't spawn every shift change.

seriously the best thing that you can do is look at what other people are charging. its almost on a curved scale, crappy minerals: 1 to 2 cpu, decent 3 to 7, really good, 8 to infinate.

it all matters on what's available and what's not

right now i'm sitting on some dolovite with a 951 OQ, that's near perfect, but that's the current spawn so i won't get much for it. but in 6 months, when there hasn't been a good spawn in a long time, i can charge 25 cpu for it or whatever.

unfortunately this game is so good that even mineral pricing is complex, throw some numbers up with your post and i (and we) can give ya a ballpark.

How many credits per unit would these resources sell for (assuming they were GOOD quality)

Tat Fiberplast = ?

Domesticated Oats = ?

Dant Berry Fruit = ?

Lok Wild Wheat = ?

Known Reactive Gas = ?

Class 4 Liquid Petro Chemical = ?

I ask because I have NO CLUE!
