Thread: Another BER10 Question from a master architech ..............
Only advice I know of is to stop making harvesters and take a break. Maybe go fight some Chunkers or something for a bit or craft a few Muzzles. Maybe by then the bad luck will have worn off.
Bad experimentation has seemed to come in spurts like that. I can get a zillion "great successes" with maybe a rare "failure" or "amazing success" thrown in and then one day its nothing but "moderate success" and "critical failure" like 10 in a row.
May just be pure coincidence or bad luck. Or their pseudo random number generator might need a wack in the algorigthm.
Make sure that the chemical you use on the LOMU is Lube Oil. If it has any UT/SR/HR you bring down your units. 93% should get you to BER 4 on the units, but not sure. Using Losa or Pemi steel (on sunrunner), I can always get to around 95% or better on the LOMU's
In order to get BER 10, your first result (first combime) needs to be at BER 7. This will ensure that you get to BER 10 with one or two exp points left (at around 83-89%) If you are still on BER 8 or 9 when you are at 83% then you won't make a 10.
And again, make sure your using Lube Oil or petrochemical for the chemical, not Fiberplast or Polymer.

sounds like you are a master in name only.
I don't think you meant that as a flame but it could be taken as one.
I think you were saying that even though we are masters we don't get the success rates that a master ought to have?
This suggests that even though that annoying little risk meter shows 0%, attempting larger experiments in one shot are still higher risk than smaller steps.
For the record, I use +15 tools and a +43.24 station in a Research Center.
