First off you have to be a Master Artisan to have enough exp points to make the Sub comps good. You also need to know a Master Droid Engineer to make your Droid Storage Compartments for the crafting stations.
To make make a crafting station you need the following Electronics Components that are under the MISC section when using a Weapon, Droid, and General Item Crafting tool when you are close to a Private Weapon, Droid, and General Crafting station. You need 2 Micro Sensor Suites, 2 Control Units, and 5 Droid Storage Compartments.
****NOTE**** the resources in (paraphases) are the ones that I use
To make4 Control units (2 for the Micro Sensor Suites, and 2 for the Crafting Stations)
You must have all resources High is OQ.
You need the Following:
10 units of metal (Ogeu copper OQ 999)
8 units of Polymer (Epabivine Polymer OQ 952)
5 units of Low-grade Ore (Neegajow, Silicastic ore OQ 996)
3 units of Copper (Ogeu copper OQ 999)
3 units of inert gas (Quadossasesis inert gas OQ 979)
This is exp up to 98% if I had some higher Polymer it would go to 99%
8 units of Polymer (Epabivine Polymer OQ 952)
5 units of Low-grade Ore (Neegajow, Silicastic ore OQ 996)
3 units of Copper (Ogeu copper OQ 999)
3 units of inert gas (Quadossasesis inert gas OQ 979)
This is exp up to 98% if I had some higher Polymer it would go to 99%
You will need 2 Electronic GP modules for the Mirco Sensor Suites
Again all resources must be High in OQ
You need the following:
For the Electronics GP Modules you need
10 units of Metal (Ogeu copper OQ 999)
7 units of Polymer (Epabivine Polymer OQ 952)
3 units of Low-Grade Ore (Neegajoq, Silicastic Ore OQ 996)
3 units of Copper (Ogeu copper OQ 999)
3 units of Inert Gas (Quadossasesis inert gas OQ 979)
These are exp up to 99%

These are exp up to 99%
You will need 2 Energy Distributors For the Micro Sensor Suites
Again all resources must be High in OQ
Again all resources must be High in OQ
For the Energy Distributors you need:
14 units of Metal (Ogeu copper OQ 999)
4 units of Inert Gas (Quadossasesis inert gas OQ 979)
4 units of Steel (Acaw Steel OQ 987)
2 units of Polymer (Epabivine Polymer OQ 952)
3 units of Low-Grade Ore (Neegajoq, Silicastic Ore OQ 996)

Youneed to make 2Micro Sensor Suites, For thatyou will need
*****note***** For Experimental Effectiveness the COND is 33%, the OQ is 66%
*****note***** For Experimental Effectiveness the COND is 33%, the OQ is 66%
10 units of Steel (Acaw Steel OQ 987, COND 639)
9 units of Metal (Ogeu, Copper OQ 999 COND 926)
3 units of Low-Grade Ore (Neegajow , Low Grade Ore OQ 996, COND XXX)
15 units of Inert Gas (Quadossasesis, Inert Gas OQ 979, COND XXX)
1 Electronic GP modules (99%)
1 Control Unit (98%)
1 Energy Distributor (98%)
These are EXP up to 91%, If I had some better Steel with a higher COND then it would go higher.

Ok you need 5 Droid Storage Comparments made by a Droid Engineer , I got 5 at 99% EXP from a Droid Engineer
For the Final Combine you need a Structure Crafting Tool and you have to be near a Private Sturcture Crafting Station (to Experiment on)
You now need (For all of the Crafting Stations)
*****note***** for the Experimental Effectiveness you need High COND
400 units of Metal (Repid, Copper COND 998)
50 units of Mineral (Repid, Copper COND 998)
2 Mirco Sensor Suites (91%)
2 Control Units (98%)
5 Droid Storage Compartments (99%)

These are EXP up to 43.22432535 Functionalitity Rating.

Nice guide. I put a link to it in the FAQ entry about making crafting stations.

Thanks. I thought about it for a while, cause I see a lot of questions about crafting stations, if you have anything to add let me know and I will add it to the guide

So is 45 even possible?
Not with current experimentation rules.
They were possible for one day about a year ago 'Temporary Tuesday' or 'Crafting Day' when SOE changed the rules of the world for 1 day and 1 day only then changed them back the next day. If someone made the parts and a station that day then they could possibly hit 45.0. Thats how some people have had them.

word to the wise: Be on the lookout for shipwright steel. It doesn't have the 700 CD cap. So the stuff I used in making the Micro Sensor Suites was 912 CD 800 OQ or something like that. But anything in the 900/800 Range will beat perfect regular steel (ala CD 700 OQ 1000)
I've been fairly lucky with spawns and over on corbantis I can make 44.18's, and some other guy was makin 44.21's.
That's with 1000 OQ gas, 1000 OQ ore, 998 OQ/973 CD copper, 912CD/800~OQ Steel, and some 993 OQ polymer, oh and almost forgot the 999 CD copper for the final build.
hehe...my buddy over on Flurry can only make 43's....he hates me since I only picked it up to make myself a fleet of harvs. So wrong, I know.
One point though:
I believe that even though you need to be next to a structure crafting station, using a structure tool, that for the final build crafting stations actually use Artisan Experimentation, so to make the best, you need to be a Master Artisan.
cool guide.

Maybe also worth mentioning that in final assembly you can use any Radioactive for the Mineral component and save 50 units of your nice Copper without affecting the result.

If I understand correctly, I need to use private crafting stations to craft crafting stations? Something's not making sense here..

No you can make a station without any station. And you can experiment then at a public station.

Ah ok, Thank you. Seemed a bit strange if that was how it worked. Thanks for clearing it up for me.

I have a question about the making of the control units and power conditioners using a factory. I have tried all combinations of private weapon, food and chemical, structure, toolkits and stations and cannot get my option to experiment or make schematics for these items. I am not sure whether it is a bug or how exactly im supposed to be able to make a schematic for them or experiment on them. Please any help is appreciated.
