My weapon, droid, and general item crafting station doesn't seem to be up to par... I can regularly get much better results at the public station in town. Can an architect tell me how to maximize my crafting station quality? Anyone know what the Micro Sensor Suite and Control Units (optional components)actually do?

The better the parts used to create the station the better the station preforms. The 2 parts you listed are required to create private crafting stations and you want to ensure they are the best you can get.

So, if you build a crafting station without the optional parts, and it's placed in a house, it's still not a private crafting station?

and do we get uxp for people using our crafting stations? and if so is it architect xp?

I was looking at swgcraft.com and it said you need a private crafting station to build certain things (like heavy harvesters). Do I need to have a house to be able to use one? And does this house have to be on my lots? Or can it be on a friends?

Yes, the private crafting station has to be in a house or PA Hall. (I know there is a structure crafting station module for droids, but I haven't seen one yet, so I don't know if they work).

No, the house doesn't have to be on one of your lots, and you don't have to be the owner. Any crafting station in a house, no matter who the owner is, can be used by an Architect.

The 2 similar micro sensor suites, 2 control units, and 5 droid storage compartment components are all optional for the crafting station.

I understand resource quality (400 metal and 50 mineral) affects the outcome. What are the critical stats for experimental efficiency on the Weapon Droid and Generic Item crafting stations? (i.e. 50% Conductivity, 50% Overall Quality)

When you sell a crafting station (all are private, regardless of components used) and it is used, you do get architectural xp, yes.

Hi, my friend recently purchased a house on tatooine and put a crafting station in there. We both tried to use it but it does not seem to work (i.e., no experiment screen, and no weapons needing a private station show up). Can anyone tell us what we are doing wrong?

Try targeting the station and standing directly in front of it - I've had it not work sometimes if I'm off to the side or behind it.

You know, if you declare a house your residence and place a Crafting station in it, you can use the station from anywhere in the house?

Prior to this, I would have to stand right in front of the crafting station, when I was still using the station in someone else's house.

If the house does not belong to me, I am on all the different lists (i.e., admin, vendor etc...) I can still use the crafting station correct? I would assume so, since going to other people's houses and stores I can use their crafting stations. I really do not understand why this is happening, please help. I have tried the suggestions above.

None of the lists except entry/ban work, but anyone who can get to the station can use it.

Try picking it up and dropping it again if standing in a different spot didn't make it work.

And sometimes the station plain break and have to be replaced :/
