I believe he meant that he should post on the servers trade board

Can you post a screen shot?

I'm not doubting, just like to see it and too lazy to go to Kauri to take a gander.

Wow, +44? Best I'd heard of was +43.84 on Eclipse.

What does running out of ore have anything to do with it? Crafting stations require copper and any old sub-components. You only need the 'uber' sub-comps when making the schematic.

Some of us get our fun out of the challenge of crafting them the intended way instead of using the factory exploit.

Congrats, Salokin. I was thrilled to top out at +43.29, but +44 is an amazing achievement!

Any item in the game that requires 'similar' instead of 'identical' subcomponents works this way. It is supposed to work this way. You notice no one claims that making walls in a factory is an exploit.

This is a game mechanism, it is working exactly how it was intended. The devs know about this which is why they took unserialized krayt tissue out of the game. If this was an exploit they could have fixed it a long time ago.

If it was intended behavior then why make the subcomponents affect the final stats of the station? Structural modules can't be experimented, and wall experimentation doesn't matter, so similar is good enough.

But with the subcomponents in the station as much as tripling the quality of the station, it would seem to me that this is a bug and not intended.

OK let me ask you this. If I was to use2 handmamde CU's, 2 handmade MSS, and 5 DSC's all from different factory runs and then made a station schematic, which serial number should be on the schematic?

I don't believe this is how they intend it to work. I don't don't recall the DEVs commenting on this so its just assumption / speculation to say that this is how it is intended to work. The DEVs usually don't comment on exploitable bugs cause doing so would advertise them and thats not what they want.

Walls and Krayt scales are very different beasts than crafting stations. Walls are different because the quality of a wall does not matter. Krayt scales are a rareitem so it would be a lot harder to make a matching sets with the same serial number.
