Thread: Factories Are Bugged

Ok, so I have been making items and such and my factory keeps stopping. So I check it out. The resources that I need are there...I was making alcohol. So the wheat was there, there was over 50K power and maintenance in it. So I checked the output hopper. 66 items.


Hrm.


And then I realized that because this has happened to me a few times the last few nights and each time the output hopper had 66/67 items. So I can only assume that factory output hoppers are bugged and do not hold 100 items.

yes, we've said this many times. SirVimes stated 'the Devs know about this and are working on fixing it"

Bah, sorry if I missed it. I have to sneak a peek on here while at work and then at home if I am on the net and playing, I get yelled at from down the hall by my brother who tells me I am lagging him.

And just FYI, this has been happening to all factories, not just food factories.


It has been happening to my factory as well, but usually when it is 77/78% full. Whenever I do a factory run I just make sure that it has enough room.

You will when you ingredient and output hopper are filled. I've received it a few times.

Nah, it happens when they aren't filled, too. Mine always seems to hit at the 1/70 mark (1 item in the input hopper, 70 in the output). Grumble!

ok, i placed my schematic for large floras into the factory. then i dropped the resources and parts enough for 23 flora harvs.

when factory stopped , i only had 12 flora harvesters in the factory. then i looked at my schematic and it said 23 floras were made.

my resources and parts for 23 harvs were all used up but factory only coughed up 12 harvs.


just a warning to all.

I was making a food factory yesterday and for some reason I could experiment on BER storage and a few other things .


The deed had a BER of 0 and other irrelevant stats, since Im a bit new and more into houses it worried me. I even checked these boards to see if there was something I missed before.

Don't worry about that. The only structures that actually are effected by any sort of expermintation are harvesters. You can experminet on the factory till youf blue in the face, and it'll make no difference

Was the factory running over the server reset? I'm wondering if they are having world time problems like we had on the TC for the past couple of weeks.

since pub 9 I have the problem that items in hoppers and the inventory etc. arent displayed. I then need to change the view into text mode, then I can see all the items.


I doubt that this is your problem, cause structure-fabs usually dont have a full output hopper, and this problem usually apears when not all items fit into the window. However, it might be the problem you have.


Dont forget that there is another problem too, the factory eats up items when its stoped by an error.


But, to be honest, we experienced returning bugs in the past, and this looks one we had around december, were fabs were eating up stuff almost random. The most fearing part of this update is, that bugs seem to affect players randomly, every day someone else got a bug, which vanished after reboot. Especially merchants are affected this way. Its possible that you have a specific bug today, and its gone by tomorrow, and your neighbour has the same problem now.


Did you made a ticket asking for reimbursement? They can check how many items were made and how many items you tooked out of the fab, give it a try, so you know if its a bug or something different.
