Increase storage capacity to reflect the size of your house

Distinct look for Corellia houses instead of Generic look

Allow furniture on Balconies/Rooftops

Add Height option for placement of furniture

Structure settings that allow us to determine what constitute an e-mail notification. Options that allow us to select Maint or Power, if the Harvester stops or if a building is about to de-construct.

These are the pre-liminary selection for the top 5 list. If you have any suggestions for additions or removals now is the time to reply.

You do realize .. they are never going to allow furniture on outdoor balconies right ? They are outdoors, items you put on them dont count as "in the house" you can sample from there, you can attack and be attacked there. The way the devs seperate in house and out of house this would require a massive change and would eliminate one of the reason crafters buy houses, to sample on their balconies

I disagree. They can change it if they want to. Simply use invisable walls. Give up sampling on your balcony and make the balcany another room. Otherwise it is just wasted space in a valuable structure.

I can see the outside world and the objects in it through my open door while standing inside my house. So this is possible.

I think the reason why they don't let folks place furniture "outside" is because of the graphics. If the balconies are considered outside of the house then they would load so players outside of the house could see it.

If they make the balconies "in-side", then I don't think you'd be able to see what's going on outside.

I don't think the Devs intended players to be able to sample on balconies or rooftops either. Kind of unreal there. And you can't attack stuff from a balcony or rooftop either, you get a "cannot see target" message. Also you can be attacked in any part of your house.

Ok this might seem bit silly.. But I really dislike dragging 70 structural modules to the factory to make 7 walls. Wouldnt it be nice if you can multi select and then drag? I dont even know if this would be possible but it sure would beat spending 10 mins dragging each one.. it really sux for me cuz I lag in inventory windows.

Please add a request for a detailed explination for how Critical failures are determined. Also ask for an explination of why all is lost on a critical failure.

Another question is why do we have to go days without certain resources available on planets? Last time Carbonated ore went away on my planet for 3 days and currently Reactive gas has disappeared. Both keep me from building turbines, and no turbines = no structures.

I dont think they will add a height adjustment ie billy's furniture would be floating around the room. They should give all the table top items a Z coord so they sit in the air like travel packs and clothing. The majority of tables have a fairly consistant height, and i could live with a simple fix for now.

Detail what we need for Emails - 1 for houses when maint runs out, 1 for harvesters when they stop running (maint, power or resource shift). 1 for factories when maint or power runs out.

Another threed is Assembly and experimentation to 100% like the other skill trees.

Thanks

I must say... good job on the lists so far.

But I just have one question...

Have any items on the previous lists been addressed yet? I don't play on the test center often, so I don't have very much skill there to check. But I would like to know if they are ignoring us or not.

All the patch notes I've seen reflect changes for other classes, but don't seem to mention any of the things we requested.

Like the list except the Furny outside one, You imagine the load on the servers if everyone started putting items on thier balconies? it would bring many systems to thier knees, what i think would be better is set themes for your porch/balcony. Giving us 5 or more set low lag themes to select would make things much easier i think. (please get a chair in those themes though, i wanna sit on my porch).

Storage capacity increase defenitly

the biggest problem that we need on this is Resource Shift occuring after a server reset. This happened on lowca causing us to have 3 shifts in a 4 day period. That happening hurt all of us and took us a week to start back to wear we were. I easily lost 100,000 credits and 15 hours of my personal time moving the **edit** things around so many times and finding new spots. This has to be the number one thing on the list.

I think distinc look for corellia houses should be done the line. It would be easier to fix by just giving use new deeds.

About resource shifts...

I'm not sure that they are planned to happen when the server resets.

I have noticed one thing very specific about resource shifts, at least on my home planet on my server(I don't explore the galaxy much). These resource shifts seem to happen every night at 2am PST. When this happens, you cannot hand sample them as "the resource density is too low", even on a 97% spot. When the server resets tho, you will be allowed to hand sample.

I've tracked this behavior in resource shifts for the past week, and it's working like clockwork. Perhaps the timing on your server is just set for the time the servers are reset, and is causeing a timing issue, or maybe the planet is just geologically unstable. I just don't know.

In any case, I'm assuming that things are functioning normally on Tarquinas, Talus. Please note tho... Our resources usually have a lifespan of 5-7 days. In fact, the only issue I have with resources is that all of the resources on Talus are a subset of Corellia. Corellia often has more resource types than us, and always has any resources that we have. One would think that we could get something special once in a while.

I sell furniture almost exclusively and the top requests of my customers are:

- Can't target the big, curved couch (some people can, some can't)
- Lamps don't light
- "Desk lamps" prefer to sit on the floor
- No desks!
- "Style One" plants, but no "Style Two" and others!
- Can't pickup Ballot Box Terminals
- "Use Bank" button doesn't do anything on Ballot Box Terminals (does in PA Halls apparently)
- Want rugs, artwork, wallpaper
- Want the ability to color furniture items
- More than one place to sit on couches, loveseats, etc.
- Ability to lay down on beds
- Bigger beds
- Ability to use chests, armoires, cabinets, etc. for storage
- Data terminals are difficult to build (need parts from factory crates), but don't do anything! Make them hold extra waypoints, use as neighborhood business directories, store policy, etc.
- Raising anything off the floor takes stairs and a LOT of patience. Need a better way!
- Ability to put furniture on porch, balcony, terrace
- PA Hall fixes for vanishing terminals
- More furniture choices!

My other requests:

- Items on vendors shouldn't count toward the house total (think house full of the entire furniture line -- 60+ items, plus crafting items, factory crates, THEN enough room for a vendor with items!)
- Items purchased from a vendor (waiting for retrieval from a customer) shouldn't count towards house total (griefing technique?)
- More house space for bigger houses (or alternative storage means that don't mean using precious lots!)

Regarding the porch, balcony, terrace argument, on some houses there is an awful lot of unused space right now. The Large Naboo House, for example, has a pretty big courtyard as well as a pretty big roof terrace. The Naboo PA Hall has a HUGE roof area. If the issue is a matter of redraq lag from the ground, don't draw these areas if not in the house!

Regarding outdoor furniture and /move up/down commands, my worry is that we'll end up with people thinking it's cute to put a couch on their roof. While I'd like way more flexibility than we have now, I hope it is done in a way so that the kiddies don't ruin it.

Bug them again about the number of lots for a PA hall... 9 is to many, as the PA hall owner is unable to have a house of their own.
