It's different per planet and galaxy

And I have never seen ore get any higher than the 50's in % concentration in Live or Beta. I was floored and extatic when I found a 57% concentration the other day.

I hear that... Got me a 58% node... and I stumbled across it by accident.

That's funny I have found plenty of 70-80% veins of ore.

The best ore I have found is on corellia, there are some places where i was getting steel readings in the 90s

Mining in general got nerfed and is MUCH harder. First the resources disappeared from your harvestors location, then some of the resources are no longer on the planet your on. Try spending 8 hours looking for a resource on 8 planets and you'll know this isnt how this game started out.

If you find a resource spot of 50% nab it, there might not be any higher.

if your looking for chemical i got %'s in the 90's on restuss. and mineral in the 80's in restuss. but thanks for the help guys.

Right now just outside of bestine - steel 91% - a little further out - Copper 86% - Right in bestine - Hardwood 68% - ...

I dont' know where your heads are at but definaltey not on surveying.

Did the resources get nerfed recently, like Saturday? I had harvesters on Naboo on a couple 60+ veins of ebipe (steel) and when I logged on Sunday the mineral was not even listed as avalible on the planet. Is this like a regular thing where one day all the minerals spotaneously shift locations or was it a one time deal?
