Well.. I will admit I need to do more testing on the new experimentation method but I wanted to report that it is on test center .. and I have played with it a bit.. I am going to network and get a better range of resources to do a fair test.. but this is what I have seen so far..

A Using average of 893 resources for omu started with 26% assembly

B Using average of 490 resources for omu started with 14% assembly

Now .. typicaly A would cap out at about 86% and B about 54% This is what I have seen..

great success for A increased % by 6... and for B by 4

so what it appears.

.A max cap .. 86% - start 26% =60 /10 = 6% rate per great success..

B max cap 54%-start 14% =40 /10 =4% rate per great success..

Now amazing successes allow us to break the before hard cap.. so with A I was able to get to 92 with an amazing succes..

ButBefore anyone panicks Like I said .. I will work on getting a better range of resources .. and experimenting more.. (it is weird using stuff that is way different from my normal stockpile lol)

And to end this post with a positive.. The armoires are fixed.. showing proper ones per level.. and the proper master armoire looks great ..

Wow..now we have to use all 10 of our exp points to get a BER 10/13?

Well, with the possibility of exp on hopper affecting BER, I have yet to experiment on hopper size hehehe. Not that it is right, just that I would miss it. That is with an extra 2exp points, never have had to use them :/

This does not necesarrilly mean that we now have to exp all 10 points to get max BER.. If you get your omu to 94%+ Ber 13 comes at 82% on the final assememby with the right resources.. that should still leave enough exp to dump a few into hopper..

Only thing I can wait for.. is with the resources I have.. I hit 97% pretty easy on final assembly exp. .. With this new system and being able to surpase the normal % cap.. with a good amazing success I will finally be able to see what will happen with a 100% effective...

Good work ! I am looking forward to hearing what 920+ average comes out at on the omus, I expect we will quickly be able to work out a formula for the starting percentages based on average qualities. At the moment it is looking like a straight division by 35 (893/35, or 490/35 = 26/14) for the base with 25% of base added for each 'great', but the roundings are suspect here. Ort it may wellbe more complex and involve weightings like in theexisting formulae, a few more results to cross reference will probably giveus the clue.

They took out the hard cap?? We can now experiment above BER10 for mediums and above BER13 for heavies?

Technically, I don't think they could "remove" the cap. You experiment something to a percentage. A percentage can only exist of another value. They have to specify somewhere what the value of 100% is.

Dvnce,

Are you a master architect on Test Center? I'd assume so from the looks of it.

Any idea how people with fewer experimentation points fare?

Can you spell out exactly how this differs from the current experimentation system? Call me thick but I don't see much of a difference.
