Nice, over on chilastra there hasn't yet been high enough quality spawns in a couple areas to reach that as far as I know, all dependant on the server ya know

Jeramon, will be making a station in a little bit to test out some of the new materials...

I have a TINY bit of Sirhe Aluminum left..not enough for the whole station, but a little bit...we'll see how it goes. Sirhe Aluminum was 999 OQ and it was either in the first or 2nd resource cycle on the Chilastra Server. Sure do wish i ahdn't wasted it before the copper came out!

O'kay, well with the new copper that's out..i can make a 14.94 crafting tool. Can't get higher than that with this, it seems.

And you know what's REALLY funny? using that tool and a 31+ station (not the best, but good), I'm getting a lot of experimental crit fails...2-3 per tool so i can't use my uber tool to make an uber tool.

Still have to test the station..i'm currently trhing to work out a deal to buy the alum. i mentioned.

You know I worked hard to make these high end stations, and I get the feeling that better quality tools and stations mean more crit failures and experimentation failures. I dont have hard numbers, but the better my tools get, the worse off I am it seems.

What are other peoples experiences? Cause these stations are a pain to make and I hate to make and sell more of them if they are bugged and hurt more than they help.

Quick question regarding your percentages mentioned here:

  • Electronic GP Module 99%

  • Control Unit 98%

  • Energy Distributor 98%

  • Micro Sensor Suite 86%

  • Droid Storage Compartment 99%

  • FINAL COMBINE 99%

Is the percentage in regard to Experimental Effectiveness, Experimental Durability or Experimental Effectiveness and Durability?

Do know if Experimental Durability does anything at all at any point in architect products?

I've been thinking about testing to see stages which look for Unit Toughness may check the percentage rating on Experimental Durability on subcomponents for that information.

After a lot of work I managed last night to make a schematic for+43.141975 Crafting Stations.

Electronic GP Module 99%

  • 999 OQ Metal, 997 OQ Copper, 984 OQ LGO, 993 OQ Inert Gas, 978 OQ Polymer

Control Unit 98%

  • 999 OQ Metal, 997 OQ Copper, 984 OQ LGO, 993 OQ Inert Gas, 978 OQ Polymer

Energy Distributor 98%

  • 999 OQ Metal, 931 OQ Steel, 984 OQ LGO, 993 OQ Inert Gas, 978 OQ Polymer

Micro Sensor Suite 86%

  • 950 OQ / 885 Conduct Metal, 884 OQ / 531 Cond Steel, 984 OQ LGO, 993 OQ Inert Gas

Droid Storage Compartment 99%

  • 999 OQ Metal

FINAL COMBINE 99%

  • 998 Conductivity Metal

It is my firm belief that +45 is the maximum possible rating.

Btw, I am pricing this run at 50k credits. Easily worth it.

Hrm... competition now... I can't let someone else have a better station than me... regardless of the fact that you are on a different server.

But you do have an advantage... you got better conductivity metal than has ever spawned on my server.

Well, after this next resource change(when the servers are back up) I'm gonna check for a couple new things, and see if I can put your station to shame. That's not all that far from my current best station(42.59703).

Wish me luck!

I'm still convinced +50 is the max. That dang micro sensor suite is really holding things down. Those are some sweet resources you've got but good luck finding the 990+ cond/quality steel for the micro sensor suites any time soon, if ever. I was hitting 41.39 with 969 copper and figure I could hit low 42's with a new 988 copper that showed up recently. Too bad I ran out of the 919 qual polymer that's the best seen on Flurry for at least a month. Whichever server gets some prime steel for the micro sensor suite will blow away all other servers. There's a steel on Flurry that's about 925/520 so a bit better but almost everything else except the low grade ore is worse.

My percentages there referred only to Efficiency, I completely ignored Durability.

Nice to see I am not the only one who wants to push the envelope either. It's kind of fun in a tormenting kind of way.

Very disappointed...I can get only 42.64. My microsuites were 90% and i thought for sure that's what would get me closer to 50..but alas, it was not to be.

Chilastra Server, Any metal was Sirihe Aluminum, 999 OQ. Steel was Erco...off the top of my head 983 (might not be accurate). Omnisomething copper for some component, OQ 970. Ieha Ore, OQ 975.

Can't recall other resources..but componnets were 90 (mss), 96 (cu), 99 (droid storage), 99 (energy distributor) and i think 98 for GP's. would have to recheck those to make sure.

Copper used had Con of 998 in final combine.

Just...disappointed...

Are you a master artisan and still only hit 42 on that station? I would have expected a 44.36 rating or so using components you mentioned and that copper. Something seems wrong.

90% on the micro sensor suites is amazing.

**edit** good job on those SS's.

I had 86% and you got 90%, that should have given you about 0.4 Functionality Rating up on me. Must have been the CU that let you down, mine was 3% better than yours and since it is counted twice that gives me a 0.6 increase over your station for that component.

I should have been 0.2 better in that case but you reported mine were 0.5 better. Might need to report back with the actual %'s of your components so I can verify.

What was your inert gas and polymer? They are used in large quantities and are very important.

It's always possible that one of the other components wasn't quite up to snuff...

My major bottleneck is the quality of copper on my server... I can only make an 88% sensor. Best copper we have(for quality) was shifted out a month or so ago, as was only 916OQ(or maybe it was 918, I forget)

Anyhow, best of luck everyone!

Oh.. and I did notice... how well you succeed on the initial combine(moderate, great, amazing) DOES play a role your station functionality. It could also be the point that's hurting, especially if it was a "marginal".
