Hello my friends,

i thought aboubt providing Service for Surveying Ressources for Artisans and Ressource Miners. I mine ressources for my Professions too, and i know how stressy and time-costly the search for precious ressource spots can be.

we all can find good ressources at www.swgcraft.com, but this valuable site does not provide you with a waypoint with a good fat spawn for the particular ressource you need.

Further can surveying be very dangerous on Planets like Endor or Yavin 4.

My Question is: 1) Would any of you pay for a survey service wich brings you a good spot with high Yield (a service wich a survey bot wont do)

2) how much would you pay (if any)

3) is there any sercvice you would like too (e.g. protecting you while you collect your ressoures, placing your Harvester)

Oh, and you *are* on my server. This question should be asked in the trade forum since this is a Farstar releated business.

Time taken to survey is sometimes a burden. But, when I would get to a purchased spot it would really annoy me to see a field of harvesters and no place but the fringe to set mine. I would much rather have a partner (or somesuch) who is also placing harvesters send me a waypoint that I can set on, too. Now... if it were possible for someone to place harvesters using my lots but I retain all admin to them and could remove the placer from them after they were placed, that would be spiffy.

Ugh, possibly one of the hardest to read Resource sites Ive ever seen. Sorry, but its poo.

And the best part? They get their data directly from swgcraft anyway, ffs.

Yeah yu could find artisens and what not to pay you to find good spots of their needed ores and what not. I would get a general client list together then go find the stuff they want in the highest forms then send them a tell saying "I found this resource at OQ blah blah blah, are you interested in paying for this information". You could also collect the ores yourself and sell it to your clients also :-) the double take. If they dont want the info of the good stuffs at, just harvest it and sell it to them anyways, lol.

I don't know about your server, but for bloodfin, swgcraft.com isn't reliable for minerals, chemical, gas or flora.

I think it is a great Idea a lot of crafters are very busy replenishing their vendors and trying to create new edges to weapons etc... although you should not restrict yourself to just MWS all crafting profs could benefit from your possible services ... honestly i would hit your trade forum with a thread saying something along the lines of "resource % finder for hire" or something more catchy and go for it... never know until you try hehe

I just started getting into the resource business with a friend, and the moain problem with it it the time it consumes. You have to make sure the harvesters are running, you have to move the stuff around and you have to search for new spots. All of this together takes a lot of time.

I'd pay for survey time. I'd pay for good spots. How much I don't know but I'd pay, % of resources taken, % of profits, whatever. Flat fee. Not an easy thing to price but a valuable thing.
