ok i have steel with UT 1000 SR 998 and HR with 957 i got 1 amazing success and experimented only one and a time. does that hr 957 make me not get BER 7 on my ore mining units? i get to 98% even with a amazing success. and if the reason is because of teh 957 hr, what resources will make BER 7s lol. and is it better to experiment all at once or point by point.?

The equation is 25% HR + 25% SR + 50% UT or for you thats .25 * 957 + .25 * 998 + .5 * 1000 = 988.75
So that steel is good for BER14.
Shouldn't matter if you experiment 1 point at a time or all at once. With that you should hit 99% with at least one amazing and the rest great.
Maybe you didn't have the right buff? Sometimes the buff can get goofed up. /shrug

I got 2 amazing successes and got 99% effeciency on my Ore Mining Units. But, they are still BER 6! whats wrong? someone help plz.

The Artisan buff is not the right buff.
You need the Architect buff. It has to specifically say Architect. It has to be a musician that gives it and they have to select the right one.

As to the part about experimenting 1 point at a time or all at once.. I would recommend experimenting 1 point at a time until you get an amazing success since this is crucial to making BER7 OMUs/TFDPUs and in the final assembly/experimentation of the harv.

Does the effectivness of the crafting tools and stations matter while making this ber 14's?
Because i have steel that is ut973 sr 974 hr976 and an Architect buff plus im a 12 pt crafter, i can get the stupid thing up to 99%, yet is only a BER6!

Eeep! I just realized the stats on your steel are not high enough.. sorry. You need 981 average between UT/SR/HR.

That steel is almost but not quite good enough to hit BER14's. That material averages to 974 and you need 981 for BER14 level.
974 will be equivalent to 993 with the 2% resource increase from teh buff. That will give you experiment result of 99%
With the 981 or higher stuff we get effective 1000 with the buff which I think gives99.99999% or something in experiment but shows as 99%.

OMU's for one use mostly steel. So you'd need some almost perfect iron to bring up the average enough for OMUs.
What are the stats on the iron?
