I am a Master on Starstrider, in an effort to see why i wasnt selling squat i made a tour of the galaxy.

It seems in the 10 masters i found including myself 1 total PA hall was made last week.

the week prior i made4 myself, and numerous other homes and harvesters. Where did the bussiness go does everyone now have a home/PA that wants one. WHere is the influx of newbies to the server? i see people leave the server everyday but i see no true newbies.

I pulled all my PA loaned harvesters and only use my 6 for1 steel 1 alum 2 ore 1 copper 1power fusion.

I dont even use these resources i sell them others for cheap.

I've noticed a good drop in both structure and furniture sales as well.

There is a real need to place some sort of decay system to all structure and furniture items and some added attractive points for housing to the general none-crafter combat population.

I too feel your pain. I mostly get orders from associates or PA members. Recently the market has dried up. We need some sort of decay or return business code inserted otherwise we sell ourselves out of a profession.

Weaponsmiths: Guns decay

Armonrsmith: Armor gets blown away

Doctor: Medecine gets used

Chefs: Food gets eaten

And the list goes on.

Architects: Our products are basically permanent unless you forget to maintain your harvester/house. Furniture is forever. Hell, I would launch these puppies at oncoming star destroyers cos they are invincible.

I know I may be repeating info but this is serious. We need something in place to keep the architecture market going.

Actually, less than 1 credit per resource. On Wanderhome yesterday there were multiple small houses being sold by the same person for 3000 credits ON THE BAZAAR I would have snapped them up and resold them but I have been having money troubles with maintaining my harvestors since business has slowed down. I have found a nitch for travelpacks at 399 credits . . .

Next to nothing. Losing money keeping harvs up. I'll keep em up a bit longer just in case "duped" resources run out....or something else restarts interest.

Only thing I'm guessing is Lots o Archs....and much of the need has been fulfilled.

I sell metal chairs and other such low level furniture now and then and MAYBE a solar gen here or there.. last big order was 6 heavy harvesters for 110k 2 weeks ago. Since then I have sold like 1 solar gen. I decreased my harvesters by over 50% as of 4 days ago and am only selling resources on market for 2.5 cr per. I have given up on architect and crafting in general in this game.. Mostly debating if i should do some combat now and then or quit.

I am buying ore, but not selling much.. made about 150k of furniture 2 days ago.. sent out an email to all my house customers from the last month and sold all the furniture (every stick) inside of 12 hours.. Otherwise, no new orders, but I have not been soliciting business either.. I am happy to have a break.. I was swamped for so long, it was becoming a second job.. 8 hours a day of "playing" to fill orders..

BTW, I bought 400k in resources 2 days ago, lost over 100k to the vendor bugs.. That needs to be fixed.. Grrrr...

I have noticed my business fluctuates more but no real drop in customers, I do not want to see decay in our structures they are durable goods homes factorys etc last decades people would be quite upset if their houses or factorys or harvesters decayed over time and they would blame us for asking for it.

There are too many Architects.. PERIOD.. between that and undercutters is where the problem lies. This is a problem I knew would come from an entirely playerbased economy, certian things would reach a saturation point because the amount of items available to the buying public is far to limited. Greed would take over for some and they would do anything to make a buck or get that exp at anyones expense they don't care who and thats what happened.

Architects should be rare and they are not, this is one of the 2 main reasons the profession will have trouble in the future and unless at least half quit it will not get better even with decay.

The best we can hope for is more schematics to build and the ability to customize colors on furniture and floorplans interior/exterior design.

I'm on starsider as well. After the big (only) shift I slowed down my harvesting big time. I sold two PA halls early last week and a few things here and their since then. Orders have come down. I get these crazy orders for "I want 6 large harvesters and 2 fusions by tomorrow" type orders. I did notice things drop around patch time. The item limit in houses have everyone wondering if it is worth while. Until then my cash reserves are going into upgrading all my harvestors to heavies and then holding on to building parts for when the harvesting mechanism will be fixed. Big demand then for 3 or 4 days. Then it is the long wait till player cities.

Harvesters would make a great consumable if structures were not redeedable.

Hello,

Im not a Architect but ive been doing some home shopping the last couple of days. Once I bought the home I found it very hard to find good place to plant it. Plus, what me and my friends do is one person buys a house and then everyone else chip's in to buy furniture ect. I think right now that home's are TO EXPENSIVE!!

I know it takes a sh*t load of resources to make a home, but 90k for a medium home is to much. To earn enough credits to buy a medium house it will take weeks, especially if you don't know many people to group hunt with for big payouts. You Architects should be crying to the Dev's like the TK artist, or the Creature Handler Haters. Because for every house you sell believe me it's being shared by 3 or more players. Every Player should have his own home, but with prices as high as they are one person could never afford one on his own. Drop the prices and they'll come, cry to the dev's so the requirments to build a home aren't so demanding. Everyone would like there own house, but with the recent nerfing of the mission terminals It takes to much time to make the money neccissary to make the purchase. One last note, maybe you should tell the developers that there should be a way for players to finance the homes, you the Architect would own the deed until it's paid off?

Good point, people can now fully share a house with the admin drop and pick up. Add mission pay out nerf and you have a low demand for housing. Now every other person needs a house, not everyone. The same is true of factories as well.
