Thread: Prices(Mad)
Im getting kinda mad because i just became an arc. And i try to sell houses for 7k! *small ones* And people think thats to high. I think that the game shouldnt allow someone to sell for less than 7k or something. ANd if its a friend and u give a discount u can pay him extra money he spends. Because its getting very very hard to sell houses!
I know other people have posted this im sure
Unless you are prepared for the stress of the long haul to master architect, I would drop it and become something else. Here are some general prices for novice architect items...
All factory Types - 35-50k
Small Houses 10k-20k
If you sell for less your only hurting yourself. Just ignore the price complainers, they dont know what you go through. You simply tell them go somewhere else if they wont pay your prices.
I agree, the only time I go down in price is on really expensive items and my harvesters are about to blow up! I'll also go down in price if they buy in bulk. It's just not worth your time to waste 3k of your resources on a small house that you can't sell for 3 credits / unit. I can sell ore and steel on the bazaar for friggin 5 per unit!
Alot of times when someone gives you that "I know someone that sells factories for 4k each!!", they are just trying to see if you're gullible enough to fall for it. Ask them for the person's name and you'll get a "Uh, um I like forgot and stuff, I'll just buy yours for 50k since I can't remember."
Lol, I also believe that your prices are a joke. Something that takes more then 3k of resources and you decide to sell for only 7k, lol. If your trying to gain xp to make it to the higher lvls, then try locating a Master Architect that lives by you and ask if you can become is apprentice. In otherwords you can make wall modules for him instead of the factory or just make structure modules for him to put into the factory, what ever the case is, it'll save you money and allow you to get to the higer lvls without going bankrupt.

11k on smalls for me...just do the math 3cr per resource....10164 to make a small. Mediums is where I lose can't sell higher then 50k and it cost 61650 to make, other then that you profit on everything else. Most people tell me my prices are just right....the few that say I am too high...I tell them please shop around, and get it from the cheapest person....they usually come back to me.
As for furniture...just find the average price on the bazaar and seel it for that...
Just my 2cents worth ![]()
I generally sell small houses for 10k. Few people pause at that...seems to have become the accepted norm in my neck of the woods. Nothing seemed out of sorts until I realized I was making 2-3k more by selling thesame number ofresources at the bazaar.
Something seriously wrong about that.
At this point I build homes/shops for myself and my friends, and stick to selling smaller items (furniture, crafting stations, etc.) to the general public. Easier to keep my harvesters up and running.
My sales prices:
Small house: 12000cr
Personal Harvester: 875-900cr
I use a equation for my prices,
3cr per resource required + 0.5 crit buffer, rounded up to the nearest thousand, harvesters i sell at 3.5 now because i cant sell them
I say someone selling houses for 5k would it be right to buy them off him/her/it and sell them at my 3.5 or should i not do that?
Have you seen the arrow?
If you find customers willing to pay you, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't. The original crafter makes his asking price...once you buy the deed, it's yours to do with as you will.
I hate jerks who constantly yell at you if your prices are too high. I also hate those other Architects who tell me I sell too high. I put all of them on my ignore list. They just piss me off. I am sick of people telling me how to work in my profession. They need to keep their mouths shut, and "advice" to themselves.
I sell at a certain price, and I keep traveling until I find someone who will buy it for that. Someone always does. But in a few cases I lower my prices to help the person, or to make a quick sale. Just sell it for what you think it is right and stick with it. Rarely should you lower your prices.

Indubitably.
