First time in 2+ years and I'm so sick of the combination of Jedi whining, SH*T expansions (seriously neither of the last 2 have been decent, JTL was great.) Its nice that they did a little for commando, but Christ give them a decent revamp, not 4 specials and a changes. SL and Ranger, while not what either really wanted and asked for are at least FULL revamps. But this kick in the junk, slap in the face, loathsome embarrassment of a 'revamp' for us is making me really think my days in game are shortly numbered.

I for one am looking forward to these changes. It's something new for the game, a new direction. Don't be fooled by everything you read, there's still going to be a lot to be seen I reckon.

Also, it's worth bearing in mind that at a certain point designing a game like this stops being a democracy. SOE reels in the info they need and changes the game as they see fit. Discussions after that point are relatively pointless. They make the game and we either play it or we don't, it's as simple as that really.

While I ain't no SOE fangirl, it's time to adapt or die ladies and gents. I for one am going to give it a shot, even if it isn't what they 'promised'.

Lol this thread was originaly started to address the issue of the proposed Smuggler revamp in development, not the NGE. I don't know what the NGE will be like for us so I dont have an oppinion on it until it hits TC later today.
