GM stated that the loot drops would initially be quite rare, but they would become a bit more common over time. He said he'd rather have to increase the amount that they drop rather than make them rarer as time goes by. If and when this alteration to the drop table is made, is anybody's guess at the moment.

You start with the lower slices and then work your way up. This is great because you can get low-level slices now, and then higher level ones when you have the loot/can afford them.

Oops, sorry. Must have had too much to drink last night...

I'm from the Boston area, never lived overseas. I spell "Armour," "Theatre," and "Colour" the same way the Brits do. I believe other people in the area do it as well, but it's a bit mixed. But it could just be that I grew up reading old British novels and speaking French, who knows.

Here in Canadia both spellings are correct, but the majority of the people I know prefer to write English instead of American.

Hey man... very very nice post. I noticed you gave all the tools needed for slicing. But, i have heard a lot of rumors on where to get these tools, if they can be crated or not... where to loot them etc. Can you give a little bit more info in this area?

What is the exact status that the tools listed for slicing armor and weapons have to be? Looted or not? Crated or not? (did i miss this information)?

Every slicing tool is a looted component (that unfortunately do not stack). What you've heard about crated slicing tools are likely the weapon and armour upgrade kits (or AUKs and WUKs) that were used in the previous slicing system and which can be converted into slicing components (which type you get upon conversion is randomly determined).

There is a listing of looted sources in the slicing section, but it's by no means complete.

What's the status of weapons and armor that were sliced before this patch?

Are they automatically considered fully customized, or can they now be re-sliced up in the new system, carrying over some amount of used-up customization rating?
