What good is Underworld's comp languages skill?

Underworld I grants the ability for Smugglers to understand all languages even if not previously trained. In the games current state most folks know all languages by the time they earn their first skill block. However the Smuggler does get the ability to understand Lekku, the Twi'lek "head tail" languages. Which no non-Twi'lek normally can.




Also, some NPC's speak languages that can not be trained by players. There's one at the Talus spacestation for example.


I believe that there may be more, but I don't remember where they were.

Yeah, the Jawa trash "mini-game" revolves around Smugglers being capable of understanding the Jawa language.

Well, the "cool" people are Canadians - and sorry - Colour, Theatre, Armour is the way English was founded.


It happened to be the Lazy and illiterate people that got it wrong about 100 years ago.

As of now...I can slice any <pending> Bio weapon. But CANNOT slice any Linked weapon.



think its a bug...

Thanks for the updated FAQ. Good stuff. Great info for us old school Smugglers returning to the game. Keep up the good work.

Dropping the u from "Armour" to make it "Armor" is no different than dropping the you from "You do it, quick!" to make "Do it, quick!". Both are acceptable; however, in each case there is an element which is unnecessary to complete the thought. Thusly, it is capable of being dropped from the whole, but doesn't need to be dropped.
