Thanks for the info Wes, and thanks for putting the "EDIT:" comments, helps when trying to figure out what I already read. And I agree that no one should have reason to doubt you, especially thinking that because you like one type of game means you won't make a good corr. Finally, see you all on TC on Friday

LOL Gee I wonder what brought this on?? Could it be that last week's Lucas exclusives on Super Shadow's site, that had YET another person whining to Lucas about SWG. and Lucas comment that he had enough, and was going to have a talk with SOE about it! Acutally did something? Hmm If that was it, I'm sending SuperShadow (though I can't stand him) flowers for making it possible to complain to the big cheese himself and get some changes made!!

FAQ is up:

Smuggler = Han Solo

Smugglers make their living dealing with the scum and villainy of the galaxy. While moving stolen goods, having a blaster at your side and knowing how to get out of sticky situations will keep you alive.

Smugglers can fight without weapons as easily as with a pistol. Who knows when a cantina disagreement will get ugly? With the Smuggler's clientele, you would be wise to know how and when to fight dirty.

General Skills:

      • Melee Combat
      • Ranged Combat
      • Dirty Tricks Techniques

Special:

• Fence Goods – allows them to sell goods anywhere in the galaxy

• Tendonslicer – direct damage attack that slows the opponent's movement so that you can escape

Not sure I like the fact that they still don't really mention smuggling, but if Fence Goods is implemented right it could be very close.

To those who have something against Wes in all of this, go fly a kite.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

If this allows me to spend time actually smuggling and being a shady underworld type character, then I am all for it.

One thing I really want to know is will we finally be able to run around without armor. If we are supposed to be like Han Solo, then for the love of Mal, let us wear street duds.

Heh, yeh, not sure on this one myself... I'm hoping it's illuding to something we can do as part of some Smuggling missions, although it seems to be listed under the combat specials.. maybe we defeat people in combat by confusing them with our prices?.. I don't know.

What you said was sad, but I seriouslyl laughed out loud. If you think about it, how cool would it be to defeat our enemies by confusing them with our prices?
