I want extra slots too. They've already got plans about that too. Don't know what they are, but they've got them.
Yep! And they made a good decision =) At least we can now have two character slots on each server spread over four galaxies.

Jedis: no im sry but i dunno that much inmature jedis nowadays, and my view is that the jedi prof should be even harder than now, as in the SW universe there werent really this much jedi, ppl in the SW universe are ppl like us, they use blasters not sabers and not everyone is force sensitive, so more jedis, less fun in my view, at least from the role playing side of things.
If you don't know many immature Jedi, then you haven't been playing this game very much. Over-population of the Jedi profession isn't a problem of the upgrade...the upgrade is a solution to the problem.
When you have an alpha-class and an end-game like the Jedi profession was, you are obviously going to have the majority of the players flock to that profession sooner or later. When you make Jedi just another class equal to all the other professions, there is no longer that need to become a Jedi just because there is nothing else to do.
The harder you make Jedi to obtain, the more people are going to go after that brass ring. When they finally get there and obtain it, they are going to demand more from the devs. "It took me longer, I deserve more!".Then you fall into the trap of paying more attention to one profession while ignoring the others. When all professions are equal, there is no longer any reason to devote the majority of the development time to one specific profession. Now we should all get some dev love.
thing is about jedi its the only real melee professon sure smugglers can be melee and BH and all them but jedi is the only real melee class. so thats means all thouse TKMs fencers swordsman pikeman will all go to jedi ( well not all but a large portion)
